the sounds of the forest take me back so far. i used to live in the middle of nowhere in the woods with most of my family and id always go to my grandparents house with my cousins. in 2017 they both died, and now the woods just give me a feeling of emotional numbness but i still love to be around them

I remember a while ago I used to be abused. No comfort or happiness, just pain. And the light in my darkness was my grandpa. He gave me hope and inspired me to become who I am now. When he died in 2018 I was stunned. How could the man who gave me hope fade? I felt numb and empty. And now I think back on how hard it was then and how much better it is now. And yet I miss him terribly. Goodbye Grandpa. I love you and may you shine with God ❤

My grandpa might have been the reason I had such an excellent childhood. He was growing older but still wanted to play hide and seek with us grandkids. I remember one specific picture, he is sat on floor whilst I used a toy's brush to brush his frail, thinning hair. He also made us loads of wooden things for me and his grandchildren (my cousins). I love my grandad, but he died in 2011. So, it's been a long time without him. I wish I could just have him back and hug him. That's all I'd want to do.

Lost my dog in November ‘22 She was my best friend, I seen her as my child, she was so innocent. We grew up together, and she stuck with me until she knew I was ready to let her go. I miss you Lucy, and I hope someday we will be running side by side in daisy fields, shinning hot summer, just like we used to.

this amazing song reminds me of my gap year in australia. It was the best time of my life. Nevertheless I get sad when I hear it. After coming back I didn't feel alive, I didn't really enjoy life like I did back there. Now it's better but I still miss it a lot. It was such a high point in my life, that sometimes I even wonder if it was worth it, due to the fact that I'm depressed and super nostalgic when I think about those times. I know I should look forward to new things but I really can't believe that there is going to be something better in the future than this experience. I don't really know how to deal with this feeling.

O som que soa de meu despertador irritante, que todas as manhãs me lembra de acordar e recomeçar novamente essa rotina entediante, me fez dispersar quase que imediatamente desde que começou a tocar.. Eu queria voltar ao tempo da escola aonde eu apenas desligava todas as manhãs o barulho irritante que me lembrava de ir a escola, e dizia a mim mesmo "só mais 5 minutinhos." Mas nunca eram apenas 5 minutos.. eu sempre perdia o horário e chegava atrasado. Infelizmente eu cresci, e minhas responsabilidades aumentaram e não posso mais me dar o luxo de continuar na cama por mais um tempinho.. por mais que eu precisasse. ... Eu apenas me sentei sobre o colchão macio no qual eu estava deitado, tocando minha cabeça no lugar aonde sinto uma dor chata da ressaca por ter bebido tanto ontem a noite. Observava o cômodo por inteiro aleatoriamente, prestando atenção em quase nada vendo que todo o meu foco está em minha mente me relembrando da noite anterior. Eu acabava por duvidar se o que aconteceu era verídico, se talvez fosse um sonho e eu apenas estivesse misturando as coisas.. mas infelizmente era verdade, realmente aconteceu para o meu azar. Vergonba É o que resume exatamente o que eu sinto. Eu gosto da imagem ilusória que acabei criando apenas tendo um corpo malhado e uma voz grossa.. uma imagem de que eu era forte, e intimidador. Mas quando eu bebo, isso simplesmente se desfaz.. e eu viro o que realmente sou, alguém carente, bobo e chorão. Eu não sabia como iria olhar em seu rosto depois desse ocorrido.. ou se iríamos nos olhar, eu sempre espanto as pessoas quando mostro esse meu lado.. talvez porque ninguém espera que um homem como eu acabe sendo assim. ... Eu finalmente cheguei a conclusão de que iria levantar.. é cedo da manhã e minha mente está me bombardeando com pensamentos e memórias sem dó, se eu continuasse aqui em boa coisa não iria dar.. Antes de ir ao banheiro realizar minhas higienies básicas, arrumei rapidamente a minha cama.. arrumando os lençóis, dobrando o cobertor e alinhando os travesseiros certinho. Eu meio que realizava tais coisas básicas ao acordar no automático.. porque estava ocupado demais pensando em nós ontem Eu estava morrendo de vergonha, mas ainda sim, um pouco feliz pelo momento que passei ao seu lado.. não era lá um dos melhores motivos para que acabassemos lado a lado, mas eu ainda estava feliz. É sempre bom estar ao seu lado.. independentemente da situação, porque todo e qualquer tipo de problema inexiste quando você aparece.
