I actually really enjoyed and was entertained by the movie. It just felt like it was missing something in the middle. The 2000’s romcoms will never be beat.

I think “it looks like they’re going full Titanic” is my favorite line from the whole movie. 😂 The thing was pretty ridiculous, but I left the theater with a big stupid grin on my face.

You are so talented and amazing

it‘s really a shame, they had great actors with great chemistry, a good story to start with and amazing scenery, but the movie is extremely mediocre. It starts really strong but it gets very quickly flat and superficial. There is not one actual good or deep conversation between Ben and Bea, it feels more like sexual attraction than romance. Also Ben knew from the bar-scene in the very beginning that Bea came back to his place after their first night, so he had basically no reason to be mad at her, which is among the reasons why the hate-love thing does not really work. Also the entire pre-wedding and wedding part with the family had so much potential to be really funny, but it was simply flat. It‘s a shame, this could have been sooooo good and bring back the amazing romcom era from the 2000s.

Dudeeee you said literally EVERYTHING I thought about as well - also, when they finally hook up when they made up after the boat party and he snuck out because he was upset when she said that everything she was doing felt like a mistake lately and he thought that she was referring to being with him and she was upset when she saw him sneaking out, thinking that he just used her or something, when they made up after that too, when he swims after her all the way to the opera house they STILL didn't talk about any of that stuff like?? It was already dumb and aggravating enough that they hadn't properly talked/addressed the whole reason about why they were feuding in the first place because like you pointed out, he knew that she had come back to his place that day and so she must've heard him talk trash about her and that's why she ghosted him right so okay let's say that I was willing to get past that, the whole sequence after the misunderstanding/miscommunication after they slept together brings me back to square one because they literally do the same thing again!! Like they should've properly talked about why they fell out again and explain that it was just a misunderstanding just like the first time they started beefing, not just feed her a bunch of lovesick confessions and stuff - well I mean, fine okay that should've still been included but I mean they should've also properly talked and resolved the whole reason they almost became strangers again.. like the way they made the whole thing just made it seem like they swept everything under the rug or again like you said, had more of a sexual/social connection than a romantic one. Idk but I just didn't like the conclusion and it sucks because yes, it literally had everything to be the perfect rom com and I was actually so fvcking excited about it but then the plot was so poorly executed and the ending fell flat.

It was just a disappointment

The only good things about this movie the views of Australia and the Koala 🙄 the movie should have been the length of this video because it felt embarrassing to see a rom com without any chemistry between the leads 🤦 this movie however cheesy it is would have worked if the whole cast wasn't so bland 🤦

Overrated movie. 😅

I'm sorry but Sydney's performance here is really poor. She's an incredible actress but i'm just confused why she did not pass the vibe check with this one. Her voice is too monotoned. There's not chemistry between them, unless it's off camera. THIS did not bring back the 90's-2000's rom com at all idk what people are saying. There's no witty comeback at every banter. Nothing in this movie is quotable. The only good thing was the soundtrack. Love the actors and actresses but their performance is weak.
