i got this one straight, used a few compressors per instrument and on the master to create some going-on feeling. comes out as a massive dub techno song, with multiple lfo creatures. sp16 is some sort of a hardware daw but very limited, which makes it also an amazing piece to play with. everything I do goes in my sp16 and there I manipulate it further endlessly. sometimes I record 1 minute samples on my Zoom with multiple channels and effects and then I sample them on my sp16. its a unique way that nobody uses. after all my years I use this route, dawless technique because Tascam decided to get rid of the midi clock on mt recordings. so I had to learn a new way of making songs. live songs. i prepare my song and record it live.
