Moore also threw a lot of passes in to the flats where the receiver made the difference. They did the same thing that GB was doing with Jones, just with more targets. How many YAC yards did KC have last night? Moore did throw a few down the field. The rainbow to Kelce and a couple others, but tons of their passes were little dump passes in the flats. It's all of the above. Mahomes is like Rodgers, he can make throws into tight spaces on the run or off his back leg. Hill, Kelce, and Watkins allow Reid to design plays like a mad scientist. Add even more speed to the mix with Hardman. Moore played well, considering he's basically a 3rd string QB, but he doesn't make the offense dynamic. He can't throw the ball far enough to take advantage of Hill. That TD throw from Rodgers as he's getting hit was a heartbreaker to a defense. It's a disservice to him to be nonchalant about it. Outside of Rodgers and Mahomes, Wilson is maybe the only other QB in the league with that kind of play making ability.

Looking at the schedule, the most difficult games for the Browns are the Bills, the Cardinals and the Ravens. They've got to take it week by week. I agree that they could end up 8-8 or 9-7 at best. However, they could also go 7-9 or even 6-10 if they don't pick up their game.

Andy Reid drew up some nice plays for Moore in the first half, but what happened after Petine had a chance to sit down at halftime and adjust? KC offense in 2nd half: 25 plays, 110 yds, 7 points (would have been 3 points if bogus illegal use of hands had not been called on Travon Williams). Close games, Petine always wins the halftime adjustment game..

Matt Moore has 9 or 10 years experience in the NFL. He's a veteran. Kansas City has so many fast offensive weapons, and Andy Reid is so good at play calling, that almost any QB could keep KC in games. Green Bay's Defense did ok. Green Bay will be in the playoffs. As it looks now the NFC title game will be played in New Orleans or San Fransisco, and Green Bay has a very good chance to get to the Championship game. I'm not a Packers fan btw.

He's correct about Kitchens. Great coaches pound in fundamentals over a bye week and when they come out that sloppy it's clear they didn't do that. They should've just kept the coaches the way they were at the end of last season and maybe could've grown by keeping things stable but instead they do what the Browns do and we see the same results.

It's a bit too early get a good idea of the best in the NFC, but would now also put SF, and NO above tbe Packers... long season.
