I did all my Marine Corps training in California, then spent two years on Okinawa for my lone duty station. It's always good to hear from a brother Marine. Semper Fi
What an American hero. A true inspiration.
I got to meet Rob very briefly when he rode through Carson City, NV during his bike ride from Maine to California. He's a superior inspiration. Great episode Brian.

That’s awesome! He’s an amazing person without a doubt!
Thank you to all service men and women who put their bodies and lives on the line everyday to keep us safe and to protect the greatest country in the history of the world.
As well as being a message about perseverance through difficult times, it's also a good lesson about knowing when to give something up. If he stuck with his degree, he could have ended up in a bland job he hates not even doing what he signed up to college for. If he kept at the triathlon, he could still be trying to get his bike times up. It's a difficult lesson to learn, and a very hard thing to get right.
Awesome Awesome Job To Both Of You. One Of The Best Podcast If Not The The Best Ever.👍👍👍👍👍
Semper Fi brother , inspiration, determination, motivation

Great podcast! Thank you for sharing Rob’s story.
It seriously shows when a host appreciates and respects what a guest has done/been through, no interrupting or anything a truly great podcast that flows perfectly and makes three hours fell like half an hour.
Awesome interview! Rob is such an inspiration!
GOOD STUFF
My left foot was severed in a car vs motorcycle accident. Just started Senior year (1975) of high school. Miraculously the doctors were able to reattach everything. I was conscience through all of it until finally arriving at the hospital. The pain and nerves sending signals is inexplicable. I was wearing army boots and the paramedics had no knife sharp enough to cut my boot off. They ended up asking the huge crowd that gathered and acquired one. I was told weeks later they added a very sharp knife to the ambulance supplies. Can’t imagine what Rob went through
Whether you realize it or not or believe it or not God was looking out for you
Great interview! The feed going out just means a part 2
