Be Humble or You’ll Stumble - Philippians 2:8-11 - Skip Heitzig
Humility is that slippery quality that once you think you have it, you don't! Also, the pathway of humility is a hard one. For Jesus, it meant the cross. But humility will always be rewarded. Using Christ as our ultimate example, Paul demonstrates how Jesus' voluntary humiliation was compensated by the Father’s lavish exaltation. So even though humility doesn't come without a price, without it, there will be no harmony, no unity.

It hit hard, the statement that the only workmanship of man that will be found in heaven, are the signs of the cross on Christ.

yes I agree. Many are not humble and I wish I could say I have mastered, I haven't...but I truly desire to. I know this will make a tremendous difference in my life. lord help me to understand humility and humble myself for your glory.

my Lord of Lord and King of Kings I praise and worship you you are all I have you are all I need I wake up every morning giving you things for another day that you give me to be here on this Earth I thank you for every day though I am not afraid to fear has left me for I have terminal cancer it started in my lungs that has gone to my brain but you are with me to see me through and I give you praise and glory and I know that it's going to be so beautiful once I get there and I go home with you Fathet I just asked and want you Calvary keep me in prayer Brian being attacked by family members I don't know if it's something I done or what is going on all I know is that I love you help me to get through this storm father God help me dear Lord from the you know my needs and my wants and you know the situation around me if I am wrong let me know I believe in the power of Prayer Pray For Me Lord intercedes For Me Jesus I can go on and on so I will make this short in Jesus name I love you amen

If you receive honour from God or man, "take it in stride." Don't take your own "good press" seriously. Men can turn on you in a heartbeat. The same crowd that welcomed Christ into Jerusalem as a conquering king on Palm Sunday was cry for his blood three days later.
