Same Covenant, different generation❣️ Jeremiah 31:31-33 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Hebrews 8:10-11 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.” Hebrews 10:16-17 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” If God’s laws are not part of our walk with Him, then we are not really walking with Him. ⤵️ 1 John 2:4 “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” John 14:15-21 “If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” Proverbs 28:9 “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” 1 John 2:3-6 KJV “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” 1 John 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” The Ten Commandments 5 Moses summoned all Israel and said: Hear, Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in your hearing today. Learn them and be sure to follow them. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. 3 It was not with our ancestors[a] that the Lord made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today. 4 The Lord spoke to you face to face out of the fire on the mountain. 5 (At that time I stood between the Lord and you to declare to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain.) And he said: 6 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 7 “You shall have no other gods before me. 8 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 9 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. 11 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. 12 “Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. 13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 14 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do. 15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day. 16 “Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you. 17 “You shall not murder. 18 “You shall not commit adultery. 19 “You shall not steal. 20 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. 21 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor’s house or land, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” 22 These are the commandments the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more. Then he wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me.” God’s laws have always been, just like He has always been (see John 1:1-4), and he doesn’t change. Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

@@WORDversesWORLD It’s all Scripture, dude 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m learning from the Holy Scriptures-the word of God. You have heard of the word of God, right? or do you just listen to other people tell you how to believe and what to believe. Because the word of God doesn’t say to get rid of the law. We are only saved through Jesus Christ to walk as He walked (1John 2:6), and He always kept his Father’s will. John 15:10 “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.” Just because you’re not under the law, when you’re in Christ, doesn’t mean that you don’t keep the law. More Scripture⤵️New (2nd) Testament Romans 3:31 “Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.” Jesus Himself tells us, in Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” Fulfill means to make full use of them. Does this sound right to you? ➡️ Would it make sense for Jesus to say, I have not come to abolish them, but to abolish them? The only part of the law people have trouble with believing, is the Sabbath day. They’d rather keep the day that the Roman Catholic Church wants instead of what God has appointed. Q. Who (unauthorized) changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday? A. On March 7, 321, however, Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest from labor, stating: All judges and city people and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable day of the sun. -google Adam and Eve broke God’s laws: those of the first 4 of the 10 Commandments were broken when they disobeyed God. Jesus would not have had to die if He were to change His 10 Commandments. (Apparently there is nothing wrong with the law of God (Psalm 19) there’s something wrong with us. (See Romans 3:23-24) Especially those who try to change God to suit their own benefit.) Sin is the transgression of the law” (1John 3:4), Transgression brings death. James 1:15-16 “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” Q. Tempted to do what? A. Giving into temptation (transgressing God’s law) is sin. Adam and Eve were tempted to sin, and now here we are! Romans 5:19-21 “For as by one man's disobedience (Adam) many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Jesus Christ) shall many be made righteous: Romans 8:3-4 “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (the law cannot save anyone, anymore than sacrifices can save anyone. To obey is better than sacrifice. Only Jesus Christ can save us from our sin/transgressing His moral laws; and only we can obey Him by his Spirit. “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” Zachariah 4:6. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.” Jesus died so that we wouldn’t have to die, by our own choice (see Joshua 24:15), so that we could (may) come to know Him (See John 17:3), and Jesus would give us the power, through His Holy Spirit, to keep His commandments. Again, “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.” Romans 7:7 The law is like a mirror, pointing us to the reason we need our Saviour. By the Spirit of God is our helper, comforter, and our guide (see John 14:16-18; John 16:13), So once we realize (all are gifts of God) we are sinful, repent daily, not just once! We “are saved by Grace through faith”, it is a gift of God. Titus 3:5-7 KJV “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Sound advice: please, start reading the Bible yourself. stop listening to people teach you what the Bible doesn’t say. If you are the teacher, please start teaching people truth. If you don’t understand these things, please remember: -1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU SLEEP NO. I WOULD SAY, BE CAREFUL WHICH CHURCH YOU VISIT. I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner-not even to eat with such a person. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” (1 Corinthians 5:9-12 NKJV)
