Luka, yes. Kyrie? Other than saying he should retire, no. SAS has made some dumb takes. But his issue with KAI was never about who he was off the court. SAS always had issue with how KAI kept finding reasons not to play given his talent level.

To be fair, Kyrie and Luka deserve the criticisms they have gotten over the years. Kyrie has been a below average teammate and Luka has just flat out not even tried on the defensive end at times. They can prove everyone wrong if they win a title, but that is still a long way to go.

It’s one game
Kyrie Irving can go into uncle drew mode whenever he want to.
AE looked tired in late 2nd half of the game. I'm surprised AE didn't call for the switch and get the Kyrie match-up on the offensive end. Kyrie got to conserve some energy not playing defense on AE.

Bro ant didn't even say anything offensive or bad yall doing too much tbh😂
It’s crazy how they reference Dort and say he guarded Luka amazing when he still did his thing. Then turn around and say that Minnesota has better defenders yet he was still doing his thing.
As a Luca/Kyrie supporter, I can say that ANT and his crew were two baskets away from the win. This is going to be a tough matchup for my Mavs.
These pundits are setting Ant up for the criticism LeBron has gotten over the years because of their premature hype.

He talks a lot for someone that’s inconsistent. He’s had several stinkers where he shoots under 35% from the field during the playoffs. Plus he has 2 All stars on the team a DPOY, and a 6MOY but everyone acts like he’s playing on his own
Anthony Edwards is starting to believe the hype the media has given him. The NBA desperately wants him to be the next mega-star of the league. He has the potential to do it, but he still has some consistency issues

Who can guard Kyrie? Mad respect for Ant Man on saying I got Kyrie, never said he would stop him, just said I want that challenge.
Oh yeah it was a bad move because Kyrie responded and he didn't show up at a high level but let's not change the narrative when Ant takes over, with that being said Kyrie is a true Vet and that's how you set the tone early and let everyone know including the Future superstar😊
@TrueGuardify

Emphasis on future superstar. Media is setting Antman up to fail by comparing him to MJ. They just want a black man to be the face of the League so bad. He's not there yet, and tbh I don't see him being better than Jokic, Luka or Giannis in the next ~7 years regardless. By that point we'll have Wemby and who knows who else stepping up to try claim the #1 spot.
These guys just put together one of the greatest breakdowns I have seen of a game in a long time. Beautiful takes from all three, insightful, and hitting all the right points!
Where did he call him out?? All I saw was him saying that's his match up and he going to see what he can do vs him. He said something else???

Sometimes you just need to say we got to play the next team. Don't say anybody's name. So people don't look for that match up. It's a semi call out

I think anybody playing in finals has a chance.
Defensively the Mavs did to the Wolves, what the Wolves did to the Nuggets in game7, in that they closed off the lane. It will be interesting to see the adjustments for game 2, and especially when they have a break between game 2 and 3.
Great show
Antman gonna respond in Game 2
NO MORE KYIRE SLANDER WILL BE TOLERATED!!!
Is it me, or does it sound like when Stephen A says Luka, it sounds like he is saying Luker lol ?
Greatest finishers period
When SA predicted a Timberwolves win before the game, I knew that Dallas would win this game. The lesson here is to listen to loozer and do the opposite.
I think this is what kyrie was saying on that podcast where he said he and bron coulda won more chips but he wasn’t at a place maturity and mentality wise I think his slight decline was him not realizing how great he truly was and now he’s starting to fully embrace the fact that HE IS HIM ( if so chooses to be)
