    When I've surrendered to my pain, and am no longer comforted by distractions, I listen to Eckhart Tolle. He is the voice of silence and the comfort in solitude... The solemn figure in the Now.

    at one point i used to drive to take a friend to the airport, the drive there & back took about 8 hrs, sometimes on the last part of the drive i would get a crazy feeling & it looked like my car & i would seen to hover motion-less, while the road & surroundings all moved under us in one direction, it was a very cool but trippy perception/sensation, but i would have to snap myself out of it, realizing that this movement was having a hypnotic effect. i don't drive to the airport anymore, but i recall this experience, it was stillness ...at 65+ mph 🙏💜🕯️🌱🐾👣🌿🌎🕊️

    Om ! I don’t claim to be enlightened but the more you are silent and conscious the more sane and mentally tough you are. Your breathing controls your mind activities, be conscious and focus more on deep breathing. The silent hearing you are talking about is very important as it make the senses more subtle. As life happens between two moments, the gap between the moments is very important spiritually hence deep breathing. The silent hearing is the key for being aware or conscious but it takes time and efforts. The light is in you and the universe is with you. Hope this is helpful.

    2:47 Meditation is noticing the silent spaces between words. You can't notice spaces and think at the same time. As you notice, you are still inside. 💝💰🌱🤩🦋💖🤠 6:35 What's the sky? It's not an object. You can't even touch it. It's perception. It's vast spaciousness. Use sky as analogy for your inner space. Clouds are thoughts. Is your consciousness absorbed into thinking? Notice the gaps between thoughts, and the light shining through the clouds in the sky. 💝💰🍁⛳🎯🌛🚀⛳🍒 11:25 Don't form opinions immediately. Just be there like the sky. Thanks Eckhart. 10 September 2023.💝💰🌹🚣‍♂️🌹🌱🍮⛳🍁🤩🍒😇🎯🦋

    What can one constructively do when one's deep, slow breathing becomes uncontrollably shallow and quick after experiencing from out-of-the-blue a discordant noise (i.e. rediculously loud and angry motor vehicle noise in previously quiet everyday traffic)

    Dear Eckhart, you compared clouds to thougths and blue sky with stilness, mind without thoughts. That's okay but I live in a town that nine months a year is cloudy, blue sky is rare, don't you think it could affect the effort to trascend and to be over thoughts ? Can weather condition our stilness ?

    let me break this down as I see it. The dimensions of consciousness is 1) phenomenological ie the study of consciousness and the objects of direct experience.2) semantic, meaning in language or logic, 3) physiological, relating to the branch of biology that deals with normal functions of living organisms and their parts, 4) functional, relating to the way in which something works or operates. As you can see that stillness can never be one of the four dimensions of consciousness because stillness is the absence of movement or sound and all four dimensions of consciousness derives from something physical, a physical source. Even the five dimensions of futures consciousness which is time perspective, agency beliefs, openness to alternatives, systems perception and concern for others all still derive from a physical source. So what is the subject for meditation here, it cannot be stillness because stillness is not a part of the dimension of consciousness and stillness has no physical source it derived from. Where as to Meditate is to focus ones mind for a period of time as a method of relaxation but that still involves relaxing a physical source. So what is the real observer that observes the foreground and the background. It is the physical source within that formed the intelligent species, something Buddha etc nor this teacher have a clue about. Consciousness cannot form an intelligent species and consciousness cannot be without the intelligent species. Consciousness controls nothing.

    Well at least you had the wisdom to start your comment with "as I see it" rather than claiming your personal thoughts and opinions are facts as so many people do, I really admire you for that. In truth I struggled to understand most of what you were talking about but that doesn't stop me appreciating your honesty about what you are saying is nothing more than your own interpretation of how you see things. If you are thinking for yourself and not simply repeating the conditioning of others then that too is highly commendable 👍. If I'm honest what little I did understand, I personally disagreed with but that's neither here nor there 🙏🙏🙏🙏

  • @chiptowers1

    @chiptowers1

    8 ай бұрын

    @@johngreen4683 Sounds like you are applying reverse psychology and then the good old tactic of agreeing and then reversing that agreement. I'm glad you said I had the "wisdom" because wisdom is the quality of having knowledge, so, from where would I have attained my knowledge from, from the physical source that formed the intelligent species, which is the center of one's imprinted knowledge. You would have noticed that I said first " let me break this down" that is me/my imprinted knowledge breaking it down, as I see it. ie I see it according to what my imprinted knowledge has advised me and not by some external belief that a teacher would expect me to believe. Because you admitted you don't know what I'm talking about, then you wouldn't know if what I am saying is an interpretation and you would be only assuming. You would be correct that your disagreeing with what I say is neither here nor there because you have not explained the little you understand and the most you don't, concerning my comment. Only the worthy who are connected to their physical source will be enlightened by their physical source presence to attain the imprinted knowledge within. It is fact that the physical source that formed the intelligent species exists but you have to think in terms of fusing elements having a symbiotic relationship with biology, but, going by what you have said, that would be difficult for you because you are stuck in your current beliefs and you don't want anyone or anything taking your jelly beans away. Evovle thee.
