Very true..before I wear hijab I was always thinking I'll not look good but Alhamdulillah today I regret not having wearing hijab when I was younger. May Allah forgive me for my past sins and guide me to the right path always..Ameen

But pride is sinful. Stop saying things like this. If you need motivation to not be embarassed of being a muslim then your knowledge in the deen is not enough and your relationship with Allah is problematic. You need to work on those. NOT become prideful of an identity. How do you know if Allah even accept your deeds? You don't know that. Being prideful of your deen is just backward.
