Nobody will read or care about this (aside from the people on the BDO sailing discord, maybe) since ocean content is dead-ish, but I just want to mention that this change makes tapping blue carrack gear WAY easier. To force enhance blue carrack gear from +9 to 10 needed like 320 or something sunset black stone, so most people just tap it with a 80+ FS and pray. This change actually makes it so you can start at 0FS and get your +10 after 20 taps, since many people have failed +9 to +10 with far more than 20 taps regularly. They've also been making sunset black stones far easier to get over time as well.

@@taninogi forgot about that. Im 150 bil atm. I was thnking of buying my first pen bs but this system might drop the price or skyrocket the weapon. Im scared and i dont want to regret any actions until we get the system 😂😂😂

Its correct, its in the official notice on the homepage. Its retroactively starting from Jan 1st 2024.

My only problem with this is that they'll only count enhancements starting from January 2024 onwards. I have 43 fails on my Godr at the moment, but 20 of those fails are accumulated from last year. Honestly they should just make the cutoff as far as the Journal has a record of. The data is there, and it's not like it extends all the way to creation of the account anyway (checked mine, it only went back to 2023, 2022 backwards was all blank)

Journal data is saved locally on your machine. If you ever fully reinstall (including deleting the Black Desert folder in My Documents) it will wipe your journal. Same thing if you ever clear cache to fix some crashing.

@@taninogi huh TIL. Sucks then, since I know a lot of people (myself included) who tapped a lot before or during the holidays back in December 2023. Hope they make it at least a year back in that case.

@@buknoybobo @buknoybobo I'm sure they still track it regardless of if you have it or not. It is objectively a good change but I definitely understand if you felt like some of your previous attemps are now less significant as someone who has been grinding debos for a long time myself.
