These elixirs are used to make frenzy draughts, it doesnt matter how many you sell, there will always be pre orders from people who grind sycraia.

If you do the math, bicep man was actually losing about $500mil/hr making the frenzies. He would have made more silver just selling the raw mats for other people to lose money making frenzies.

@@Frostbitexxxxx The frenzy elixir mats are more expensive than the final elixir. He could have done zero alchemy, sold the mats, and made more silver. He was losing about 500mil/hr making the elixirs.

@@Frostbitexxxxx Yes, but I calculated for that, and assumed a high-ish 1700 alch mastery. I also factored in tax. I'm pretty sure he was losing $500mil/hr.

Overstacking horse basically :) Every time you need to dump your trash loot you just withdraw everything to your own inventory again and then dump the new stack of trash loot into your horse's inventory then just repeat until done grinding, GL my man :)

definetly making them, alchemy need alot of active gathering compare to cooking.

I love it when people sip on the deludium about "X guild always leaves when they aren't winning". Every freakn guild does that. You will have some dents in every guild that will try to adopt the "you leave you lose" mentality, but the overwhelming majority will not stay if they aren't winning in every guild. From the shitter guilds to the top, it's no different.

Why are there people talking about the time investment for alchemy? I'll give you prep/gathering time or buying the materials, but everyone knows alchemy can be done afk while your sleeping.

Because even then the cost of doing alchemy while you sleep is the cost of not actively doing, cooking, training, processing or fishing while you sleep. There's always a time cost to everything, because opportunity cost is a thing. On top of that, not all afk activities are created equal. Let's say you sleep for 8 hours. You now need to find the activity that will make you the most money while you do this, given that you're willing too in the first place. In that scenario, alchemy is rarely the most profitable thing to do even then, more so that it isn't common to have the materials to do that on the daily basis which means you DO still have to account for active gathering, Empire work, and market buying to the equation. Even when all those things are accounted for Alchemy still falls behind in the majority of scenarios. Just don't be the next Teddy Twilight :p. There's certainly money to be made, but you always need to account for the fact that you could be doing something more profitable with that time since bdo is a game all about (silver progression - cost of gear) / fun of the activity. :p. Edit: the current state of alchemy really is a feast or famine state. Actively doing anything for Alchemy will see your profits die, so the most common approach is to mass pre-order and wait for workers to fill in mats and then have huge bursts of profit like seen in this video. Even then there's still the cost of freezing income to place pre-orders and having your workers do alchemy nodes instead of others(this is mostly a wash as alchemy nodes tend to be profitable anyways).
