You're looking at the world's GREATEST, top-level, elite bboys in history all gathered in one place. They are the best of the best on this planet. Yet unlike pro athletes, they are barely exposed in the media and probably get paid chump change if anything at all to compete. I'm guessing they have to pay their own expenses (travel, food, hotel) to show up at these events. These guys probably put as much time and effort if not MORE than other professional athletes. Much respect to all these talented bboys but it's fucked to think about what these guys risk and sacrifice to do what they do and not get rewarded like other major sports

Yes much effort and much talent, but people are paid on how much interest they generate, TV audience they have and how much sponsors are ready to pay them. Skill and titles have almost nothing to do with. If talent, effort and titles were taken into account, if it were the case, then Michael Phelps would earn 10 times the money Cristiano Ronaldo or Lebron James do.
