It's crazy how things change from 5-6 years ago. Wall, Leonard, and Hayward all went super late in this draft but would arguably all be in the top 5 if they did this draft today. Funny to look back at these kind of things. Lin was Shaq's 2nd pick and Kawhi wasn't picked by anyone lmao

Sit here judging this drafted in 2017 (5 years later) All I can say is WOW Chuck. Besides that Brooks-Williamson picks; those picks were right on. As for not picking Kawhi Leonard, it's kind of understandable. In the 2011-12 season (which this draft takes place in) there were 10 Spurs players *(including 7 who played fewer minutes)* averaged more points than him. In fact one could argue that his teammate Tigatto Splinter (who was drafted early in this draft) was the better player of the two that year.

2020 and it's even more remarkable looking back thinking Kawhi wasn't really rated back then. And my word Chuck's team is insane. Guy needs to become a GM will selections like that.
