This must be the most technically complicated motorcycle riding test on the planet. So much packed into less than 10 minutes. The test in the UK is much more smooth flowing and is on open roads (at least Part 2 is which qualifies you to ride on the highways). Part 1 doesn't even have 1/5 of these manouveres.

Just wanna add a comment at 3:49. Some instructors say that you must exit the road at the bus area, not after the bus area which is effectively the bend. They said the tester will penalize. Perhaps that has changed already.

I can agree on the timeline being a pain and a year between bike sizes doesn't make any sense, and if you managed to have alot of road experience in the US after getting your licence then sure you might be just as or more skilled as what they test on for class 2 which is the highest class, but I kind of can't believe they can just convert you like that, at the very least converts should be made to sit the test for class 2 as well to take the online road theory test, as those have more to do with familiarizing yourself with singapore roads specifically...seems unbelievably unsafe not to do so By the way Ive driven manual vehicles in Singapore for almost 7 years and I think the same should be applied to class 3 converts. If you actually have adept and full control over your vehicle you should have no problem passing the test within one or two practices, frankly if you cant then you're a danger on the road as the test is really very basic compared to actual road shenanigans Everything on the final test is meant to tighten your control over the vehicle and prepare you for multiple eventualities that could save yours and other motorists lives, compared to it the MSF course in the US seems like a joke meant to create more organ donors...

@@TheDingfish yeah its common here to just get more “training” outside of the mandated course like the ones runned by the snell foundation🤷🏻‍♂️ although hearing my singaporean friend talk about someof the useless thibgs that are tested like supposedly “checking” before straddling the bike and getting docked on the test if you don’t physically look both ways is still kinda wild to hear. also one of the reasons we do things the way we do here in the us is because everything is about pricing, the higher you pay the better and safer a bike will be in terms of added safety features like abs and anti wheelie control

@@nathan-ls8yw hmm do you actually not check your blind spots when riding or driving though? Because that's all the checking is, to look that no one is barrelling your way before you make a move. It's like when walking and you keep an eye out to not bump into people, except at 4-20x speed of walking, so you know kind of exponentially more important lol
