Jubei was the first character I ever wanted as DLC, the same day BBCT came out and I saw him in Ragna's story. I thought he was a shoe-in for big one of the first DLC characters, and he would up being the very least in the franchise, three games and several revisions later.

Crazy cool combos like always but I wanted to ask is hakuman a combo monster in his games he's my favorite character in BBCTB (sadly only BB I've ever played) but yeah lol

Hakumen’s a bit of a weird one in core Blazblue. He has some of the most unique combos in my opinion (and he can do some really high damage under the right circumstances), but if you want to get some of those really big combos, you’re most likely going to have to play in a way that requires you to not do too many combos until you get that really good hit. Since all of his special moves use up his meter (magatamas), most bnbs have him using the least amount of them as he can so that he can save up that meter for a big punish

BBCF Hakumen combos scale widely with how much meter you're willing to spend and how difficult / meter efficient you want to make them, his combo structure is both solid and flexible. He tends to do a lot of damage, and probably has the highest capacity for practical life bar deleting comeback combos in the game. 仙境使者Hentaitop's BBCF2 Hakumen video would give you a good idea of the kinds of things he can do.
Now I want to play Blazeblue. Is this the latest version?

Hey, I notice there is a delay between Jubei's J.5C into J. 214B where he's below the character. Is the delay before his J5C or his J.214B?

I generally delay j.C
Man an hour in and still cant land the 5B after the j.214B in the first combo > >

You need to delay j.C so that when j.214B happens Jubei is much lower than the dummy. This buys you more frame advantage when you land.

having trouble linking 3C after air slashes in combo 14... do you adjust or time your moves before the 3C to help or is it just that super tight?

Yea that one is actually quite tight for no good reason. You cannot hold down all the way throughout the five claw attacks, but rather need to be slightly above ground level.

Jubei seems to recover like a full second too late to link 5b after j.214b. Did that get patched, or is there something I’m missing?

You need to connect j.214B closer to the ground for the necessary frame advantage. Pay attention to where I connected the air buttons before that.

0:57 overhead combo.. I can't seem to get the follow up after I land after the 214b in the air, I'm usually too far away. Tips?

You can delay j.C so that the sequence in the air is done during descending, putting him more directly under the target during j.C as well as closer to the floor when j.214B connects.

Old cat's right eye (the one with a patch) was originally his brother's which could see through the true form of beings. That green/black spirit thing is Terumi's true form.
Sometimes I just wonder "What if Jubei was my dad?"
Do all blazblue characters have badass crazy combos like this guy? I know a few of the characters but never felt like trying the games.

Actually I think Jubei is overall less interesting than others. So you can imagine how much more variety the others would have based on this.

@@YXiao I agree. Characters like Izanami, Litchi, Es, Naoto, Hibiki, Platinum and Tsubaki are some of the ones I really enjoy playing because of the intricate yet creative combos you can perform.
