We should acknowledge the ill treatment of workers- thats true. Its wrong for muslims to ignore that because its abuse is totally unislamic. At the same time the UK virtue signalling/faux outrage is hypocritical at best. The UK is one of the most exploitative countries in the world. If you are going to call out Qatar then dont turn a blind eye to UK double standards. I dont recall this much coverage regarding China's forced concentration camps during the Olympics, or UK clothing companies ceasing trade with countries that use child labour.

Wow you fell for the 6,500 number quoted in a British newspaper (Guardian) but failed to disregard the fact checking of these reports by other agencies who revealed that these figures were grossly exaggerated and included things like death of office workers from natural causes who happened to be migrant. And wow you failed to raise a concern for how countries such as England France and the US treat their migrants. All those death by drowning in the Channel whilst the authorities squabble. The tories proposing flying off their migrants to Africa, the US banning migration from 7 countries and then scapegoating and villifying the South American migrants for their domestic problems. Wheres your protest for these people? This WC has exposed many many hypocrites. Will you object to the next WC as the host country has invaded 50 countries since WW2 and for their abhorrent gun laws, death punishment and Human Rights violations?
