I remember watching this with our Spanish teacher when I was 12 years old; I'm 27 now, relearning Spanish again and coming to the best resource. I remember the whole class enjoyed this series so much!

I'm trying to learn Spanish... It seems harder when you don't have someone to talk with... But I won't give up... Listening to this helps

i know it's been a month, but how's it going? i'm also learning spanish! my teacher recommended this for my class to revise. none of my family or friends speak spanish or are learning it either, but i find it pretty cool because i say stuff in spanish and i tell them what it means and they try to replicate it! a language always looks good on an application for college or a job, so don't give up! ¡buena suerte!

I remember watching these episodes in Spanish class and I finally found it!!

It has been years since I watched it. So good, helpful and I may have rope my grandchildren into watching and learning? OK watching.

Have loved watching this over the years. It's a very good learning resource. There's so many fun and interactive ways of learning a language and this is one of them.

This taught me soo much! Such a shame its gone. It could still help soo many people get into learning Spanish

I loved it. I will use it in my classes. It has the appropriate vocabulary for beginners.

There is a series called Extras. If you search Extras Spanish you should find it. About 12 or so episodes.

From the BBC specifically: there’s Italian “ La mappa misteriosa” (just as good, search YT). For Spanish: (quick search) - Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish - Buena Gente (on YT) -Spaniards in London ... that’s all I got on a quick search. I believe there is another new resident in Europe type of learning drama on YT , Extra in Español , hope this helps.

Is it only me being deaf or when Merche says "No te puedo decir mas" @ 57:30 , it's more like "poooh-deh-theer mas" instead of "pweh-doh deh-theer mas". What I mean, there's no way I could hear "puedo" being pronounced there... like bit more than one whole syllable went completely unspoken. Is it common to say this word like this?

That’s only for the interactive version, it wouldn’t translate well in the BBC rerun. But the narrator is the same.
