Dubbing Theater Mid 1970's Keller horizontal "dubbers" would handle both 16mm and 35mm magnetic film

I wonder if the Steptoe programmes were made at Lime Grove.

Yes, very early episodes were made at Lime Grove, before transferring to TV Centre.

There's another version of the bit that Cliff Michelmore says on here. It's a word for word likeness, and he does the same, but the tone is somewhat more downbeat. Why were two versions made?
