Bike life and moped thieves are different. Sure a few of them will be moped thieves but most moped thieves ride mopeds because it is easier to get away in heavy traffic whereas bike life ride to enjoy it. Most bike life riders are on geared bikes anyway, not mopeds.

Instead of confiscation of bikes, give um somewhere to ride.

at least Englands news trys to get both sides of the story XD, in America the news is so incredibly biased against bikers, not just the bike life movement but anyone on two wheels is made into a criminal by the news and society believes it, the news highlights the illegal stuff and somehow forgets to mention all the charity rides, good deeds, ect. i swear a car could purposly go into the oncoming lane to hit a biker and the news would make it sound like the bikers fault.

I ride dirt and not street at the moments, they barely even have places for offroad riding, there's one motocross track thats almost an hour away and thats it unless we want to drive 3 hours. and we have alot of offroad vehicles near us so they dont really have a choice unless they have a large property.

on a pedal bike damn. i have a little honda crf 100 i rip around on and i can wheelie the thing pretty good, one day i was doing wheelies in our front yard and a lady rolls up and tells me to get off the property. keep in mind its OUR yard. and boy she did not want to hear it, i tried being nice but she spent 10 mintes yelling at me to get off the property and stuff so i just started the bike and did wheelies untill she got so mad she went back to her house, thats the reason i got a gopro and post stuff now. she moved out a while ago but it still is funny to this day. im almost 15 so ill get a legal bike soon but i think she just hated the noise, keep in mind my bike was and still does have a baffle in it and its not as noisy as it could be, but to wheelie on a bike as small as a 100 i have to get the rpms up decently so i get that thats noisy but she was just being irrational about it so i did what any normal person would when faced with an irrational person. ignore them and wheelie past them several times till they get mad.

They can pay for their own place to the ride if they do it on roads with people minding their own business on then I'm very happy if the biker dies before the innocent. They all end up on the pavements at one point

Everyone's hating on videos like this but its a hobby. They are doing it cause its fun. Not intending to hurt people just wanna get together and have fun. And yes it does keep u out of trouble I know from experience.

We had some land Bedworth rezivuare it was an amazing place for bikes but the magority of it is now a building site and even exhalls green belt was a good place to ride but once again it’s now covered with houses

As a " Biker" of long years 30 and more i think i know a few things ,i can understand the " bikelife" kids but i can,t condone it,when others are in danger.Anyone who takes to 2 wheels great stuff ,but you kids out there be aware of the consaquences.

I don't mind this in fact I want to buy a dirtbike and do this. This keeps kids away from drugs and dealing drugs and knife crime and all sorts like that

You would also need insurance because if it's a lawful ride area, The Government would be held responsible for anyone getting hurt if they didn't make them get insured.

And these kids should have licenses to be on the road with the bikes so getting bikes to the space wouldn’t be a problem and no you wouldn’t have to police them and no insurance wouldn’t be needed either A) make them sign a waver or B) put signs everywhere saying “use at own discretion”

"Is this bike legal?" "yeah, 100%, it's taxed, MOT'd, insured" but "I take it (the plate) off in case the Police come" With no plate it's not gonna pass an MOT and it's therefor not a roadworthy vehicle. If it's not a roadworthy vehicle, the insurance is void. "100%" legit there...

Police took my bike off me because the exhaust was too loud. His reasons; The exhaust wouldn't pass an MOT, thus this bike is not roadworthy. Stung me for an IN10 at the same time because the vehicle is not in a roadworthy condition. Same applies for ANYTHING that would fail an MOT, apparently. And it's also a condition of most Insurance Policies that the vehicle is road legal for the policy to be considered valid.

Think that hasn’t been attempted? Council won’t approve it to be used for that and even if they did you need extortionately expensive public liability insurance and an ambulance on standby whenever anyone is riding. Impossible

Me being a biker and had my 1st bike since the age of 9 I totaly get it. I'm 44 years if age now and ride a R1 I totaly serport bike life. If they gave a strip it would be so much better for young poeple and positive like they say rather my son picking up a bike riding and enjoying life than picking up a knife. I have a boy he 8 years old and I'm teaching him all about bikes. U guys got my backing just stick to the roads not pavements safe riding all

The more I learn about motorcycles the more obvious it is that "bike culture" has always been a part of working class british culture. This is not a new thing it is ingrained in culture, this is why you see intergenerational bike appreciation. Theft is a huge issue, and bikers should work to stamp this out first. Authorities also need to promote a positive working relationship, they have an obligation if they want to minimise the risks to the public.

One issue is; if you kill or injure someone prattling about on a bike; never mind their risks, their delicious, you’ll be to blame! The police will investigate you and the friends and family will blame you. You’ll have all the stress of a police investigation and also a sense of trauma.
