As a Brit I have to say yes as others say a quarter of a century wait to host Eurovision again! With us not knowing when the next chance will be if it will be in the lifetime of young people like me we’re going to take the opportunity because of the situation with 🇺🇦 .

I’m still trying to wrap my head around us hosting it all 😂 this advert is perfect, balancing humour and shows what a fantastic production the BBC is going to put together. The UK is renowned for putting on a show and being able to do so for Ukraine is a true honour 🇬🇧🇺🇦

We love Ukraine. I went to Ukraine in 2019 and loved Lviv and Kyiv. I want to go back again someday.

@@MyBroSux24oh I think the BBC will with Tap at the helm they know what they’re doing do Tap it may be a few years like it was for The Netherlands when they ended their failure to qualify streak with Anouk and then in 6 years they won so Sam could well be our Anouk

I just love this trailer. It's like a mini-epic, and SO many Easter Eggs! You forget that at the other end of the country, the BBC are running two other mahoosive events *at the same time.* It's good to see Auntie back on top.

Bosnia-Herzegovina was my personal number one of Eurovision no less than five times: in 1965, 1976, 1993, 1996 and 1999. Definitely the country I miss the most of all ... 😢😿 With ♥ from Germany

I can't bring myself to watch the semis - but..!!! I will watch this channels content on the day and suffer the earworms up to and during the final from a select few acts. I am a lousy spectator. trust me (also the reason why I don't watch football - I've got form - and the broken toes). I like to go in having not heard anything, there's less temptation.

I’m delighted the U.K. is hosting, and I can’t wait for my Eurovision weekend up in Liverpool, but I can’t help feeling like the whole coverage is forgetting that UKRAINE won last year, not the U.K., and there only seems to be a passing nod to that in the set up. Only 1 Ukrainian host out of 4? Did we need 2 Brits (Irish Graham Norton was a given)?

You're partly wrong Jamies World, FA Cup Final weekend is June 3rd this year, same day as the Derby. All the other occasions you mentioned are in May.
