That fact remains, there wouldn't be any cigarette smuggling if governments weren't so greedy! As far as links to other criminal activities, The fault for that lays firmly at the feet of greedy governments not smokers who are just tired of being ripped off. Greedy governments have caused this problem and they (and only they) hold the key to ending it!

Simple answer that will solve the problem: don’t make the European and UK cigarettes shit and don’t tax people up the ass.

This is what happens when you charge £14 for 20 cigarettes people are going to buy smuggled tobacco would you rather pay £90 for a carton of cigarettes or buy smuggled tobacco which is £40 to £50 for a carton of cigarettes.

Raising the price of a sleeve to 100€ would make the soil very fertile... Yes it is unhealthy to smoke, but if prices are constantly raised then you end up giving the mom & pop and other people opportunities that appears to be worthwile yet arent...
