I loved that BBC Breakfast News (IntroSig_VA_T6_3+Front Title) Edit (1989-1993) by George Fenton, George Fenton is a true professor of BBC News jingles. I also liked the Intro Title graphics. These were some of the best for its time.

Absolutely, takes me back to when I was 5/6 and loved it, lol!

A TV news jingle masterpiece. They don't make them like anymore! The title sequence graphics were excellent too; impressive for their time and actually more sophisticated and imaginative compared to what we see on the BBC today. I also miss professionally behaved presenters speaking with perfect received pronunciation. Poor old Nicholas Witchell has long since been relegated to reporting royal family matters and has aged beyond recognition. The late Jill Dando, a delightful television personality, was so cruelly taken from us 22 years ago now. God rest her soul.

Poor Jill. I was only a kid but I remember my dad being very upset

Amazing to see this. Remember it so well at the time the two Tornado pilots John Peters and John Nichol were shot down and captured. A really powerful piece of music that put life back home into some perspecctive.

They should revive it in 2023

As a kid, this seemed to me like THE most boring show in the entire universe.

Takes me back to waking up for school as an 10 year old, hard to imagine we only had 4 channels back then. so nostalgic though, even though the BBC is a paedophile factory now and I wouldn't watch it unless football is on. Still reminds me of better days, unless you were Iraqi anyway. Thanks and take care

That was the day i was attacked at school by a another member of the class and i started punching him in the face and was sent out of the class crying and also i wanted to be a fighter pilot and maybe flying the big airliners and my mum taught me how to say saudi arabia properly because i had trouble speaking at the time.
