That's why she doesn't do it every day ;) the original note is much lower and for a lot of TV appearances she goes for the original note. But I am surprised by how often she actually did it!! Truly amazing!

well on most perfomances it was prerecorded.... you can hear that a lot of them sound completely the same

notice how she didn’t even lip sync not even ONE bb5 , she would just dodge it or sing it in a note lower... truly amazing !!

Yeah. I think it’s because the bb5 was so clear and long and the build up run was F5-G5-G#5-Bb5, instead of just F5-G5-Bb5.

I've been looking for it as well!🙂I saw it on her Instagram and it shocked me how amazing she sounded! Although I remember her having to defend herself in the comments because some people thought she was using autotune (when she clearly wasn't). i really just sat thru an 8 minute video of ariana doing Bb5s of the same song and i enjoyed every second of it.

Also you can tell the bb5 where at it’s peak in the middle of the tour. At the end of the tour she might of been a little tired but she was still giving it her all!

The way that she had flats on her belts really shows how she's singing live. I love her so muchhhhh

That run on Milwaukee is 😍 I also think my favorite is Brooklyn night 2 when she hit the G#5 or Vienna or Manchester or Antwerp😂. But for Brooklyn I’ve watched the whole performance and she was so in to it and her facial expressions made me cry. 4:29 1 year later i still havent changed my mind. this is her best one.

Antwerp and Vienna might’ve had the most “sustained” Bb5’s, but I don’t think they were her best, necessarily. I mean, if you prefer it held out, maybe, but the whole run considered...I don’t know. I saw her in Charlottesville, and she nailed that Bb5. Not the best footage (sound quality, really) here, but I have a video of it on my page. She didn’t hold it, but the run after it was just as impressive, for me. They’re all amazing, though. Can’t believe anyone would insult her. The fact that she can even hit the note, and those runs, night after night...I mean, she’s a queen, and a vocal magician. We are seriously so blessed. 😫

4:29 Birmingham is way better than 4:23 Birmingham. Way less strained, held longer and the ascending run had a G#5 in it which sounds beautiful. Honestly Birmingham night 2 is better than all of them.
