Try adding some shrink on the eye of the hook will help turn and place the hook might just be the edge needed I fished that lake many a time and they no how to shake a rig

Yep I have always done this on and off depends if I'm feeling lazy or not and want a fast rig made up.

Thank you danny you stay safe to. I'm still coping with a two week continuous on and off cough which is driving me crazy hopefully it pass soon.

Nice little fish jay . On the subject of reels the Okuma 8 carp reels are really nice . I use the Okuma surf 8 reel for beach casting really smooth. Anyway well done may see you at Reculver sometime .👍👍👍👍

Thanks lee yes okuma reels have always been my favourite reels of choice have had them last me 10 years in the past before finally seizing up. And yes hope to meet you one day take care of your self
