I am traveling to Tbilisi and Batumi in August 2022 for the purpose of tourism and real estate investment. You have opened my eyes to look beyond Batumi. You have clearly demonstrated that the adjacent communities are well worth investigating. I love your accent too!

Thanks for sharing this video, Marina. It is a serious deep dive into the realities of investing abroad and is well informed advice, no matter where one may consider purchasing. I love that you have provided alternatives to investing directly in the City Center. Many of these properties are very appealing with a view of Batumi City, and especially for those (like me) who love the close proximity to the City without living in the thick of it. Nicely done!

In previous years, some people from rich Arabian countries were denied to enter Georgia after arriving at the airports without any reason and the newspapers were talking about this. so, if there are no clear laws, the investment will be futile. tourism need to open up to others and accept others to raise the level of economy and not keep investing hotels free of tourists !

Thank you for the informative video, however, i would like to point out something about beach resorts that they tend to loose interest over time. Especially when other newer resorts open, people tend to follow the trend or the new because they follow their curiosity and the love to discover new things.. Same like Shopping malls, you see that shopping malls tend to loose interest over time and people go to other shopping malls because they are newer and they tend to get away from the routine.. Therefore, i think buying in the city center is safer on the long run, if the investment purpose is to hold the property for 5-10 years.. I would also like to point out the fact that reselling the property in the city center is much easier than reselling in the suburbs. This is just my opinion and i hope you would comment on it. I have some question about georgia's temporary residence permit program by purchasing a property in georgia : 1- does the government also giving the temporary residence permit to the owner of property and his/her wife/husband and his/her +18 years old dependents?? 2- Can I come to the country as a tourist then purchase a property in first visit?? Hi there! Thanks for commenting. It's the same situation as before, obvious stuff: masks, distance...No curfew restrictions. The only new information is that from 1st of December you will need to present a green passport in order to enter, such places like: restaurants, cafes, fitness centers, gyms, cinema, theatres, museums.

Also, there are customers from Canada, European countries, Middle East, Israel, and etc. Regarding winter resort - it's Goderdzi, which is developing every year: there are being built new apart-hotels, cottages, restaurants and etc.

Best Tower will be the one from the Turkish Billionaire of Metro Group that will be on the Gorgiladze Str.
