Battling The Darkness and Exploitation in Bangkok, Thailand LHP Ep.10

In this episode, host Paul Hutchinson takes us on a gripping journey through the streets of Bangkok, Thailand, where he, along with his team, stumbled upon a disheartening scene: over 100 girls, each with a number pinned to their outfit, signaling their entrapment in the web of human trafficking. From the distressing prevalence of prostitution to the shocking accounts of families selling their own children out of dire economic necessity, our episode lays bare the dehumanizing grip of exploitation in Southeast Asia.
Join us as we uncover the emotional rollercoaster of experiences - from witnessing firsthand the depravity of the red-light districts to the highs and lows of undercover operations in a bid to gather crucial evidence against human traffickers. We delve into the heart-wrenching encounters and the resolute determination of those on the front lines to bring an end to this horrific injustice. As we navigate through the challenges in the face of unspeakable atrocities, we gain a deeper understanding of the imperative to combat this pervasive evil.

Man.....listening to the story at the end had me in tears. I'm so happy the world is waking up and beginning to not be so naive. I honestly can't imagine you pulling off these roles, i can't imagine the emotional trauma this would cause

Hi Paul, I am a child trafficking survivor, I was rescued after 6 years in hell, I was one of the lucky ones, so many of the thousands of children i met along that road of hell didn’t survive or are still lost in depths of the nightmare of sexual slavery. Thank you for fighting the fight🙏🏽

I sympathize with you and all people who are abused enslaved etc. I have seen many children in bad situations. I tried to rescue a few but they did not want to be rescued. They had been brainwashed to believe their abusers were their family and they had to help them . children selling themselves so adults could drink and gamble. This world is disgusting.

Genuine suggestion!!! When watching videos on your channel, it’s very hard to find the videos you make. It says you have made over 400 but barely any of them pop up in your page. I think it might help to organize ur page especially for newbies to know where to start. Thank you

The hill tribes sold their first daughter for a t.v. the second for a small motor bike. the girls returned to the village rich and so many of the other girls wanted to go do it as well. Then the missionaries moved in with their lies and used the girls as well. The police and military run the brothels.

What is needed is not to rescue the ones already lost as many will return to it of their own choice for the money. The thing to do is buy the ones direct from the parents before they are sold into slavery.

I am one of the rescued ONES (as you call us). I was 11 when rescued with 40 other children (boys, girls and 2 toddlers). We were put into a safe house, therapy, school, medical and to learn skills, the babies were fostered. How dare you say we would choose to go back to being raped and tortured every day, we were children, there were no choices and not one of us has gone back to that life. Your comment hurt

@@Thailand-mt9op , I know from research . And I was years in Asia. There are plenty of females who were rescued from Brothels who went through the retraining but chose to go back to prostitution as it was good money for easy work compared to the other jobs offered. You were not one of them. That does not change the reality there are plenty who do go back willingly.

@@Thailand-mt9op Do you disagree with me that it would be best to buy the children from their families before they are sold to traffickers ?

@@PanMu I was sold by my family, but to be honest very few of us are. Most are kidnapped or lied to about a job if a little older. Any of the girls or boys that go back to being raped do so because they are broken and rejected by the family even if kidnapped. We are trained to say the right thing to the clients/rapists. By the time we are free, the very few of us that are, we believe we are not worth anything more. You have no idea and have no right to make any opinions. 🥲
