YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES THE REGENT APPEARS I hate to admit it but it had FAST become one of my favorite mechs of all time. It looks AMAZING - like a Hunchback and a Hauptmann made sweet love and made whatever a Regent is. Its weapons are excellent at all ranges of engagement; and the armour is ugh. I hate to admit that a clan mech stole my heart as bad as the Regent did but I do not think I haven't taken it yet after piloting it once.

Love those 'Mech-scale dropships. They are beautiful. Torso armor feels a little thin. Chapter 2: Liao has been positioning against the Wolf Empire in anticipation of attacking Terra. They want to VIP because the Maskirovka thinks he's got knowledge about Alaric's defenses on Earth, and they want to deny potential reinforcements from getting to Terra prior to their inevitable assault. As a bonus, if they rescue some 21st Centauri Lancers POWs, then they can try to get a favorable contract with the unit, freeing up additional House forces for their attacks against Wolf holdings.

That new scenery is so good. I'm a sucker for airfield buildings for some reason. Thanks for the quick, brutal game. Still getting used to the ilclan ultra-killer tech, makes the game go so fast.

The distant rumble of battle shook the Pieru homestead, setting the windchime to tinkling. The elderly couple in rocking chairs on the porch didn't even spare the flashes on the horizon a moment of attention. "Sounds like dem wolf boys are havin' themselves a scuffle 'gain," the grizzled Eustace said. "... Wha?" Mildred replied sleepily. She rubbed at her eyes and cupped a hand around her ear. "I ain't hear'ed nothin'." Eustace laughed, though anyone observing might be forgiven for believing the noise was a hacking cough. "You ain't heard nothin' for twenty years!" The old lady swatted her husband on the arm causing another fit of hacking laughter. "Shut yer gob, ya ol' buzzard." She spent a moment listening to the battle go back and forth for a moment before grunting. "Ain't a scuffle. Can't ya hear th' difference 'tween Clan an' IS lasers?" Eustace simply shrugged. "Didn't wanna assume nothin' this far. Somethin' got gauss though." Mildred nodded as her husband took a pull on his pipe before continuing, "Betcha it's tha Mad Dog C they got." Mildred's nod shifted into a negatory shake. "Nah. Same mech got pulse lasers too." "Dire Wolf... B was it?" Another swat to the arm. "Eustace Pieru, it's a darn good thing I din't marry ya for yer brains. The A variant got dat gauss rifle." "Pah. Dem new Clan machines ain't worth spit what with dem XL engines." He spat on the porch. "Why, back in my day-" "Yes yes, dear heart, an Awesome used ta only hav' three PPCs." "As blessed Blake intended!" The old married couple drifted into silence as the battle wore on and they watched the sunset through the ever-present haze of methane production.

First off, this was another misdirection. The 21st picked up the VIP at another point. However... The 21st were not expecting to have issues with the black ops insertion, recovery and lift off. While Clan Wolf was mostly looking to prevent at the space port. Some scouts on regular recon, a sibco on training maneuvers in the general vicinity watched the small dropship come down...

Another fantastic battle report! I absolutely love the terrain setup on this one. Related to the MW5 Clans trailer release this week, any chance of a return to 3050 for a showdown between the Dracs and the Jags? Definitely some hrutal action there!

Amazing board, fun game. Also, side note, It would be super neat for the opening mech forces intro/scroll to include the mech's armament.

I will put Arkham Bridge as one of the tracks(the opening track), and field Wolf Empire forces!" Sure enough, that has to be what happened. Even better, was praise to the ilKhan and First Lord of Star League IIC, Wolf Jesus himself, the great Alaric Ward. Ben is a good sport, and definitely swung for the fences with his 'Mechs with heavy hits and downing the Star Colonel(which ranks higher than a Star Captain and a Star Commander. Star Colonels are usually in command of a Cluster. Star Captains will typically command a binary or trinary. Star Commander will lead a Star.), nearly bringing down the Dire Wolf as well. Elementals doing a touchdown dance after the battle resolved completes a good day. A Wolf day, a good day indeed, for Death From Above Wargaming Wednesday.😁🐺
