@@NashmanNash you can only choose 1 unlock per mission, that's hardcoded, you cannot upgrade your fubuki to a shima AND your nagato to a yamato in the same game for example

the game was rushed, the devs went bankrupt shortly after so the maps are small, plus if it actually used realistic distancing it would become wows

Just a bit of trivia it says December 8th because that’s what the Japanese considered the date to be in terms of the time attack at least on the Japanese mainland due to the international date line. Though the local time would be December 7th still.

Wrong actually, the attack canonically happens a day later so that we can have the us carriers in port

As for the carriers being at pearl I think they were going for a full "What if" scenario where the carriers weren't out on patrol

@@jasonlarkin3949 Probably an alternate version where Japanese are more advanced and industrialized, and that their 88 Fleet plan was completed.

The reason it says December 8th is because at the time of the attack it was about 04:00 on the 8th of December in Tokyo. Matter of fact the Japanese code for "Commence attack" was "Niitaka yama nobore 1208"

one of the best games I've ever played. Pvp was the shit in this back in the day.

Agreed, you had to actually tactically outsmart your opponent like playing a game of chess

While it sometimes crashes randomly, that has been the case with the base game for me before. Other than that, this is still the best naval game I have ever played. And with this mod it's just gotten way better. A beautiful game and an even more beautiful mod.

Looks like the mod massively changed the missions and units in there. The "original" is more accurate when it comes to the ships actually present in the missions. Enterprise was not there in the original and the mission itself was way shorter with other objectives. That said: with all these new ships and models this mod looks really awesome for the skirmish-mode.

I believe the campaigns are “What if?” Scenarios. I believe the end of the American campaign is Operation Downfall coming to fruition

I just have a tip for you, you have to group up your ships more as formations even if they are two but Place them near to each other and command your ships more (micromangement) The other thing is the engine is old there is nothing like a citadel ;)

I used to play this and midway. Multiplayer was the best part on these games and i loved the campaign on midway. The only thing that pissed me off and still does is Windows live but i bet im not the onlybone.. This game series deserves a revival.

I haven't played this game for years, it's prequel BS Midway is good to. BTW SeaLord it'd play so much easier with an Xbox controller :) And yes more vids on this please :)

I love to spam the submarines that have the planes with an army of Fuso’s lol also I like the paratrooper planes but there is also a game mode where you play as a kamikaze plane and it’s who dose the most damage wins lol. Also I have a battle stations poster that shows all the units in the game. I love to see this game getting some love as it’s one that I like lol.

Man that was a good game.

I wish they'd make another one of these for current gen consoles.

I used to have this on xbox 360 but never got passed the 2nd mission in us campaign, I played again yesterday and finished the us campaign earlier today

Beautiful models.

I was thinking of buying it and searched gameplay and this showed up going to get it with zero regrets

It sucks that hey took it from the steam stores, but I guess it's convenient that I bought it when it was on sale on Steam a few months ago. Also, I'm glad there's a remaster mod for this game since this was one of my favorite games to play on my Xbox 360, good times.

This game is so fun. Played through the campaign at least twice (on XBOX that is). My favorite mode is the skirmish but I cannot get it to work for single player whereas I could on XBOX. Any ideas?

Glad to see u god the game working.. Also.. it pains me to see u not know that u have multiple upgrade levels for all ships and planes (as long as the arrow for selecting a upgraded unit is green, and not gray). So for BBs its bismarck, Yamato 1945, Hizen, GK, and A150/Super yamato

Wow. Quite a few of the units featured in this mod (such as the A7M Reppu) are anachronistic and never actually saw use in the war. Makes for nice "what if" scenarios

well please play this more i like this game and will be happy if you can play more of this

In BS Pacific i wish they had made it so that strafting the ships actually did do damage i mean it worked irl at stopping anti air fire etc.

The AA in this game is so good the planes need buffs lol the AA is sooo good that you can lob a 15inch shell at a plane and kill it lol

I bought it on steam a few years ago, I see now that is not for sale due to it being updated but previous owners can still download it, why not continue to sell during development. The original is still great for the price

Idt this was on the original. Played the hell out of this game. One of the very few games that I can say that I and a few of my friends were the top 4 players trading first place amongst us. But that was on the 360.

I can’t get it on steam it’s very sad :(

For those that don't know. Download Gameranger to connect to MP games of old. Classic Battlefront 2 (2005) has alot of servers, original starcraft, command and conquer, supreme commander, etc. You dont have to settle for modern garbage.

Language problem , english only , in island capture mode the music doesn't stop , but you have more missions .... I don't know which mod i have exactly , i have the P80 shhting star and some german ships .... But i don't have any regrets .... The game isn't on STEAM , it seems that they work on a global update ...... Difficult to make a better game ...

It’s a shame they pulled it from steam, when all they needed to do was to remove windows live
