Battleship USS Maryland (1945) by Trumpeter, 1/700 Scale, Ship Model, Full Build!
The kit had a great fit overhaul. The parts are very finely molded and have good detail. Railings and ladders are not included in the kit, however, some great extras are included: a photo-etch catapult, main mast, radar, and seaplane crane.
Overall: the kit is great, especially for its price, and would be a perfect kit for beginners just learning modelling or working with photo etch.
