    We are in alternate 1944-45. Bismarck in this space time continuum beaten royal navy avoided his destruction, but ship was taken by french after liberation of France and was in their navy. He was taken to US for studiing a sent to pacific to fight the japanese. Later was bought by US and was in part of any conflict between 1951 - 1991.
