Battlefront 2 Tutorials #1 - Lightsaber Combat and Hero/Villain Tips, Tricks, and Secrets
Ойындар
Finally, the beginning of the highly requested tutorial series has arrived! This is part 1 of a mini-series of tutorial videos focusing on different aspects of lightsaber and hero combat. This video, specifically, is showing various tips, tricks, and secrets in lightsaber combat and things you can do with individual saber heroes and villains. This video doesn't contain every single trick or secret in the game (that would make the video go for hours), but I tried to put in things that I think is useful information, and also some things that haven't already been shown in every other tutorial video out there. I hope you learn something new, and if not, then hopefully my future tutorial videos may show you something new. Hope you enjoy! :)

Hello there. Hope you all liked the video! I spent the past 3 weeks, every night, working on it. This is also not the only tutorial video i'm making. This is just a general kind of tips and tricks video to help start the series. In the near future I am going to make specific videos dedicated to each part of lightsaber combat, so you can learn it piece by piece in an easy way, instead of having to sift through a messy 30 minute video. Until then, what did you think of this one? Did you like it? Not like it? Learn something new? Any requests? Let me know in the comments!

Used to binge BF 2 a lot. Don't play so much now, but I still like to watch vids of it from time to time. It's insane to see how in depth and complex the hero combat can be. Excellent video
this is so helpful you really would've been a great jedi master til you left the order keep it up
This channel is the only one ive actually learned something from these tips and tricks videos all the other ones are just standard stuff😂
I’ve played this a lot so I’ll share my tips too: 1. 90% of the time don’t try to block the return on the saber throw. It’ll leave you way too exposed and you’ll lose more health than you would’ve if the saber throw hit you. Better option is to dodge it. 2. Try to be as mobile as you can. Even with with a hero like vader who’s “slow”. Staying in one place WILL get you killed(talkIng about GA and supremacy). 3. Don’t spam swing. Not even against regulars. If they know how to dodge even a little bit you’ll lose a bunch of health at best. But also don’t stand there blocking. Learn when to attack and when not to. 4. Don’t get overconfident just because you mind trick your opponent with obiwan or rey. If your opponent knows what they’re doing a little bit they’re crush you. Try to navigate to their back with rey if you can since their turn speed is slower. 5. And finally, if you’re fighting a level 800 vader, give up. Obviously jk but be careful with vader because no matter if you’re at full health or 100 health, you’re always one choke away from dying. Keep your eye on him on the minimap and be extra careful if you know/think he has a choke. Try to get him to waste it if you can before engaging him more aggressively. Bonus tip. Watch AnarchyNinja and learn from how he plays especially with heroes lol. Trust me you won’t regret it
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This was so well done and you did an amazing job at explaining tips/ tricks. I am so glad I found this vid and your channel!🙌
This was great ! I've played since launch and I have to say you teach me many things. 10/10 :) Can't wait for part 2
I now believe the archives are complete. In all seriousness though this is a damn good Quality video with big Q. Both entertaining and instructive. Thank you so much for putting your time into making these videos man, I literally can't stop watching you. Huge SUB and LIKE from Denmark
Unlike the other 500 vids that say "learning is half the fun" like stfu im tired of getting stomped every fight. Thank u so much for making the only video's that help new people instead of spitting out the same "press right click to attack" video like the rest of YT much love 💘 new sub
This is so useful! hardly find any tutorials that are this in-depth and well explained. Never noticed before how useful the jump attack was!
I have been playing BF2 for 2 years now with a lvl 152 Vader now. And at 1:01 is the first time ever hearing Vader's choke sounding like the choking sound effect from TCW! It's so nice!
Hi Asohka I have never seen your channel before but thoroughly enjoyed this video and was really entertaining the whole way through! I am 100% subscribing!
I've been wanting actual tips for so long. No one gives good tips. I thank you
Amazing video! This is really going to improve my hero combat. Thanks so much for making it:)
5 minutes in and already crazy helpful, thank you very much!
Literally the only video on the planet explaining this stuff correct
This is an awesome video. I couldn't help myself but appreciate the amount of effort that's been put into the production of this video. Very detailed, engaging and entertaining. Thank you Ahsoka.
This was way better than i ever could have expected, this is one of the most well made videos i have ever seen. Really good job👍
Very helpful tips, and Samuel Kims Star Wars Soundtracks are always great to hear
Ty ashoka for the tips and do your best
I'm knew and i have to thank you for this i could've been slaughtered without this but lucky me i got the notification before going in. Great vid as always. May the force be with you

Thank you so much for this video Master Tano :) It helped me a lot ! May the force be with you

I'm already about 5 minutes into the video and I also consider myself an experienced saver user but I still found video extremely useful and I feel like I learned a lot of new things so I'm definitely going to take this to heart and get back into hero showdown.
Thanks man! This is great! Keep these up!
Will you be doing a series guide on how to engage each hero with what hero you're using? Like if you're using Rey, what's the best way to engage Vader, Kylo, Palpatine, etc.

Kind of impossible. There are about 25 different ways it could go if you are playing as kylo and target rey. Depends on hiw old the player is in the game, how many teammates are next to rey and how they are placed, as well in whatatch you are playing, if you have good teammates, what level is the chatacter you are facing and some more stuff
Been here since launch and there are still things this taught me. Also the editing is great!

I knew a lot, but some very interesting tips in here! ;) Absolutely incredible tips and tricks. Should have used YT's new "video chapters" fuction though, would have saved me some time XD
Good stuff! That stagger bit has always given me trouble, and now that I know how it occurs I know how to avoid it. Thanks a bunch!
This is the best tutorial I have ever seen. Thank you for doing this
this is really helpful thanks keep the good work up!
Thank you so much, for this video and for your work :)
You can hit Grievous back when he is in unrelenting advance but most players will try to prevent you from hitting his back so try dodging around him to confuse him and then strike if this doesn't work you can try jump attacking him however this has to be fast as he will likely turn to where your character is facing so if that doesn't work your out of luck until the ability stops
OMG i loved the video I'm really glad that we have you . Thanks
This is great that you’re doing this, it’s could really help new players and maybe some experience once looking for review
I just started playing this game 5 days ago and I’ve been searching for a vid like this it literally has everything I need too learn and know thanks this is a very well made video
You just won a new fan, thanks for your work =)
I’ve been playing this game since launch and theirs things in here I didn’t even know about. Good work
Excellent, I didn’t know a lot of these and I’m a longtime player.
this is one of the best tips and tricks content for battlefront 2
Cool and very useful video. Thank you so much
I've been a Grievous main for a while and didn't even know about that jump attack. Bravo!
I will send this to all my noob friends so that I finnaly can have decent team mates :D thanks haha

Wonderful video! Thanks!
Even though I didn't feel the need to watch this as I knew alot of it, I still learnt a few little things from it! This was well organised and structured! I do feel a lot of newer players can learn from it

I really appreciate your work.
Nice Tutorial thank u Ahsoka🔥❤️
Another neat little Yoda trick: friendly fire fills up his unleash ability. I haven’t tested this in a while, but at least as of last summer it was still working, and I’m pretty sure it still does.
Never realized how many of these I've taught myself just by playing this game since launch. Wisdom in experience I suppose!
The music makes this even more epic and cool.
Such a great trick is being able to parry a lightsaber swing. Helps when fighting multiple saber heroes. I do it whenever I’m constantly fighting 1v4s in HvV.
I also do lightsaber duel videos, and I only knew maybe a third of these. Great job!
Great video, I’m a somewhat new player and this helped a lot
Thank you for new tricks its helpful
Holy shit man this just opened up the heroes vs villains part of the game into so much more for me
Hey Ashoka! I loved your video. Very insightful! I'd love to see a "how to duel: sabers vs blasters". Mostly, I'd like to learn how to duel sabers as a blaster hero. It seems like in a 1v1 I always lose to sabers. Makes me miss the roll from launch lol.
Love ur vids dud))))
The maul spin deflection will help me a lot in hvv where blaster hero’s spawn

Thank You. This will definitely help me in saber duels

Brilliant video, but I think when dueling a hero that can heal them selves, Dooku’s exposed weakness seems to remove their extra health. Looking forward to part II 🙏🏻

I'm veteran and this still taught me something it would be cool for you to implement and classify a lightsaber form for all possible fighting styles
