I too remember when Obi-wan kited Grevious with lightsaber throws. They perfectly captured the movies in this game. I just wish they kept the portion where Obiwan told him to get good and emoted atop him.

I think the offline part of the classic collection is great, the only issue so far that I’ve noticed is that the end cutscenes don’t play. Also by the way Bombastic did you know on felucia you can get on the AT-TE after powering it up?

When you said "last person alive" on Tantive IV, I imagined the opening 5 minutes turned into a Die Hard kinda film. Imagine 1 stormtrooper attempting to navigate the entire ship, evading rebel patrols and doing all the objectives after the entire boarding party got wiped xD

2:31 After playing through the Xbox version of Battlefront 2 on Xbox One backwards compatibility I can confirm that the cutscenes were pre-rendered as they showed clear signs of compression that was common at the time. I was hoping they would maybe do a bit more to help the cutscenes look better, but judging by your video they at least look less washed out and compressed.

I just bought the 2004 THX digitally mastered versions of the OT on dvd 📀 IV, V, and VI. Can’t wait to see the special features w/ commentary by George Lucas, Carrie Fisher, and more on all 3 OT DVDs 📀 and only for a $1 at my local pawnshop lol 😝

I had some audio bug where after shooting there was 1-2s delay. In short i shot and after 1-2s shooting audio played. (ON PC).

The air battle over yavin mission where you have to hit the engines of the capital ship under a timer almost broke me, without the Y inversion its so hard to navigate those bombing runs

I couldn't get past the Yavin IV campaign mission on Battlefront 2 Classic on the PS2.

@@theaces3697 I literally had a bug where if I stood behind a certain point on the map, whatever was in front of me would just turn black and have 0 textures. I believe it was on Polis Massa.

@@werebeargamez My theory is when they upped the movies to 4k and enhanced all the textures with AI they were just too lazy to compress the files, which would be why its 50GB, idk why exactly they removed the ending scenes, but my best guess is for storage and probably laziness. I played multiplayer yesterday, broken mess, but the campaign besides end mission cutscenes is good to play. I would recommend just playing single player until servers are up, or just refund the game. Because I've tested all the buttons, when pressed they have a massive delay, like the sprint button if you press it it's like a 2-3 second delay extremely noticeable, whilst on the original it is instant with no delay. And they also heavily messed up the camera sensitivity, because in the classic collection it takes much much longer to turn the camera than the original, I had to crank mine up to 10. And if you play multiplayer I recommend heavily quitting, because force push is extremely broken, there's just nothing good about multiplayer. Lastly, the funniest thing is that all the new content "added" to battlefront 2 is actually all available on the original Xbox version. So if you play Xbox, you'll have an amazing time compared to the classic collection. The original one on Xbox has all the new maps "added" besides a few brought over from battlefront 1 like geonosis (might check that later), almost every map has hero assault (named assault but the description is different from regular assault). And it just feels much better to play than the classic collection, same goes for battlefront 1 original, it is way better. The only thing they really did is make all the content for the Xbox available to every other system. In a very broken mess. Edit: original does have Geonosis.

1:41 If memory serves correct there is supposed to be music playing during this cutscene. Also I remember the audio quality of the cutscene being much better in the original. I'm assuming you edited the audio to take out the music because of Content ID, but I wouldn't be surprised if the audio was completely botched with everything else that has gone wrong with this release.

Yes. The end mission cutscenes for each mission aren't playing. Instead it just skips over to the stats from the battle.

This isn't cannon . They had microchips that activated when order 66 happened so they Essentially weren't bad at all until that happened

No, he did this for Copyright reasons as most of the cutscenes use a lot of the original John Williams score from the films. Sucks, but you know monteization and all.

Being able to play it on my PS5 is worth it! Upscaled graphics and 60fps is great! As someone who never played the originals this was worth the price for sure!
