They did a fantastic job on the tank engine sounds in this game. Especially the Sherman and Chi-ha

do you really think so ? I was just saying to my self that this engine sound was pretty poor, sound like a 4 banger out of Corolla. Doesnt sound near like the 16L radial engine the Sherman was fited with The sound loop is pretty cool, gear changing, multiple reverse gears... That's cool, the loop are cool, but the sound it self is pretty poor to me

More like what an enemy team… from the looks of it, all their anti armor has stormtrooper syndrome, i mean in the first push there was like 5 shells that missed lol.

The speed of those turret turns scares me.

I really love the "lived in" look of the tanks in this game

This is not a Sherman. It is a modern tank disguised as a Sherman. The speed, turret rotation and reload is insane.

Lmao that's far from the only thing holding this pile of lackluster-mediocrity back . . . Really, all they had to do was copy and paste BF1 into a WW2 setting, keep the Premium/paid DLC system, retain the dedication to historical authenticity/realism they previously established, and *boom* BFV is literally one of if not the most played/best selling BF game in history and spoken of to this day like the other titles. Immersion breaking cosmetics and historical inaccuracy aside, the whole 'going down' into a state of needing revived-with an autistic cringe animation-versus players naturally dying was one of my biggest gripes, adding an animation to revive too basically destroyed half the teamwork you'd experience in a BF game, the "attrition system" where you spawn in with a whopping 3 magazines for an MP40-then in the next life spawn with however much you previously had-couldn't have been a worse idea if they tried, and that completely neutered vehicles, the sound design was seriously like 10 steps backwards from BF1 (or even previous games)-guns didn't feel nor sound nearly as powerful same with explosions, the color palette was atrociously too saturated and *almost* cartoonish at times, the constant barrage of women screaming and flailing around in game couldn't be more immersion breaking (the sound of female character models screaming at the top of their lungs is more apparent than machine-gun fire), the game launched in a wildly unfinished state and then they tried using "Tides of War" (i.e. live service bullshit) as a reason why but then gave up halfway through, some of the "war stories" were literally straight up historical revisionism and SJW propaganda, replacing Norwegian commandos that took part in a real historical event with a 16yo little girl and her mommy, I could keep going but you probably get the point.

The HEAT shell is really good on this tank.

Yeah breakthrough is way better, it's actually structured and more realistic instead of just running around the map to different spots

BfV & BF4 I just ❤. BFV for the immersion, less spotting, full bodily movements (laying on back) even ragdoll physics was great. Just was cut short sadly damn .

This game was far from simulator quality and yet still had my favorite tank gameplay of all time, I donno what it is, it just worked for me.

Im relatively new to Battlefield, ive only played BFV for more then 100hours. I love how the community can really be immersed into the game, the design is great, but often its the players that will fly in formation or walk along side your tank for seemingly no reason other then it being very cool 😂 I don't think there is a game without scripted events that is more cinematic then this one

I loved this game but as a fan of stukas it was impossible to play it because enemies always picked the fighters and downed me in 5s...

Used to be, in my eyes, a pretty good tanker in bf3 and bf4 but stopped playing and lost all the skill i had, now i just play tanks for enjoyment not survivability, the stress I would feel just ate at me too much, but I always love to hop on and be a engi or gunner for tankers, bf5 has a really cool emersion to tanking, Id love to just sit on top gun and lay suppressing fire and spot even if I got blown out over and over

You can do exactly that by spectating almost any match. It’s a little tricky to get the hang of, but entertaining

BF4 is overhyped. If you weren't in a vehicle, you were pretty much screwed and most of the guns/classes felt very weak. BC2 will always be the best BF game.

The way the can balance vehicles in BF2042 is actually taking away unlimited ammo and have to re arm

I love BFV but actually M4 Sherman only has -4km/h reverse speed... also the turrent is way more faster than the real one, the vehicle stats in this game is not based on real world.

Very alive! There are always a lot of full servers in the EU. Its only a problem when there is a hacker on the server so the server empties out.

Battlefield looks pretty, and that's all it's good at

They tried to make WW2 Fortnite , with people sliding everywhere , German soldiers dressed up as Japanese women , running around with a sword killing everyone , just stupid shit like that ruins what had the potential to be a really good game.
