I know I’m a little late to the party, but I think the battlefield 3 story completely outshines bf4 garbage. However, I’m a huge fan of the bf4 multiplayer experience. I never got around to playing hardline. I checked it out and it seemed like a major break from the bf3 and bf4 modern shooter.

Both were bad. I could not keep up with this game and got lost as to what was happening. Bf4 made more sense but lacked depth due to the decision developers made to make the player a mute

We posted this a couple of weeks ago for an hour or 2,but the KZread processing would keep bringing it down to 1080p for some reason. Hopefully it's good now.

I'm trying to fix it. I think the KZread processing messed up, so I retriggered the processing to see if it fixes it

if anyone has read the book, called the russian, they will know that sgt blackburn was ordered to kill dima at the pool by cole, but dima had saved blackburns life not 5 mins previously. in the book, dima stops the paris nuke by removing the detonator. he finds out that the bomb had been placed on the same office floor that his son worked in, whom dima had not yet met

@Kurt Ambrose 3 years late, but yes, there is. It's called "Battlefield 3: The Russian". I'd recommend you give it a read, as it has more backstory on Dima, Kroll, Vladimir and Blackburn.

Just finished reading it and a really good read indeed! Was kinda disappointed after seeing this

This campaign did a great job at balancing realistic military banter and protocols and realistic set design with FPS run-and-gun gameplay. The invasion of Iran looked like it could have been recorded in the real invasion of Iraq. I also love how they didn't have the stereotypical guys wearing cloths around their face, shouting in Persian/Arabic, and rubble and sand everywhere. They provided a believable depiction of Tehran which could be mistaken for a run down, a bit behind-the-times American or Canadian city where people would realistically live their lives, study, conduct business, etc..

I loved this game SO much !! But it was a long time ago since i played it. Thanks for bringing back the memories

Transformers I believe as well. Dude has a distinctive voice for any sort of Military Commander.

They did a fantastic job on this game and the story.

Why hasnt this game been remastered yet or remade cause its still one of the best battlefield games ever made, so much effort was put into this game it deserves a games award

I quite like the story of this campaign, it's not very fancy but it is interesting.

These graphics were too ahead of it's time, I cannot understand how this game look this good

"I just work here." After Afghanistan, this has an unbelievable amount of accuracy.

from start feel like a normal game opening and at the end you feel the movie

when watching game cutscene is better than movies.

i love it when the characters have actual opinions and humanity

We are in the process of moving into a new house we are finishing up building, and I found the game in box. The house we built has a theater room with a 120” screen. Depending on the input lag- I thought this would be a perfect time to bust it back out!

This was my first Battlefield game, man it’s good to see this again.

Man, this game was released all the way back in 2011 and the facial animations are still pretty awesome. Granted, there are games with better ones now, but still...

This game, is, simply, amazing, a true piece of art.

Brings back so many memories! My clan and me were so effing excited for this to drop. We loved bad company 2 and we need a part 3 but this was on a different level of bad ass. And wasting hours trying to get the beta to work on operation metro 😂😂😂😂 those were the days 😭

Rewatching this and bf4 campaign I only just realize that Dima in the jailbreak sequence is the same one you play as in this game, and the CIA agent that takes command of your squad on Titan also makes an appearance in this game.

4:40 this cutscene stole my heart. FPS campaign need more scenes like this one. It really builds climate.

if 2042 had a campaign, it could probably compete really well with this. 2042's cutscene in the beginning of the game explaining everything that happened to the world is insane. imagine you're a no-pat, fighting for one side, and killing your brothers and sisters on the other side for survival.

Looking back BF3 had an amazing singleplayer experience even though it feels a little rushed (janky working sequences, spawns & hitboxes) I don't know if we'll ever see another story featuring 90s-2000s 'style' US military in a period correct theatre (middle east, radical/extremist antagonist etc) that dominated the 2000s & 2010s of gaming

in finish of 1st mission wen i open a door i stand and glich after 5 second end and a second cutscene talking and when i drive in car it glich and nothing screen is vibrating for 10-15 second and stop and nothing happen please help

@@glp damn makes me feal cheap cuase when i built my first pc back in 2015 i was running a gtx 950 and a i3 6100 with 8 gigs 2133 dang has my pc gaming experiance has changed (3600 ryzen 5, 1660ti [got it msrp at launch XD] 32 GB of ddr 3200 with tight ass timeings and like 5 gb of hdd storage and 3gb of ssd [i dont delate a game like ever just buy more storage XD] but i nearly bagged a preorder on a rtx 3060 ti but i was 2 days till i had tne credit so missed the window now im praying for 800 dollar one XD rip pc gaming with new hardware at msrp [also eff nivida and the RTX 3080ti and the RTX 3070ti]

If I had one complaint towards this campaign is it’s small text hard to read the Russian text and hard to read squad names it’s annoying but it’s a small thing kinda.

The dang subtitles were the hardest things to read... What are they, subtitles for ants? Definitely not for a truckasaurus rex

This was a really good story, but some odd quirks. The aforementioned tiny subtitles, the frequent lens flare - it might be realistic, but this is a game, it's not needed and just annoying; also the LOUD BACKGROUND NOISES WHILE CHARACTERS ARE TALKING - again, likely realistic but this is a game, dialog is useless if we can't hear or read it.
