This song feels tactical as fuck

It's simply a takeoff checklist between the captain and first officer. "Right, the takeoff clearance has been obtained; let's have the takeoff checks, please." ...does checklist together... "Takeoff checks complete" "Roger, this will be a rolling takeoff, I'll set the power to 15 thousand, go ahead set take-off power, niner right." "Rolling" ("Niner right" is in reference to the runway 9R). ("Rolling takeoff" means they are rolling out onto the runway while doing the checklist and flowing straight into takeoff without stopping, which is why the checklist is done in a hurry, probably because of traffic behind them or landing shortly).

They sound British, interesting considering so far the brits haven't appeared in the game. They probably took this from civilian traffic like in the jet mission.

Battlefield 3 is a masterpiece of it's genre and you can't deny it.

I remember when this played in mission "Thunder run" when you're shooting those PLR soldiers with your .50 cal, everything was blowing to pieces and one of the tank crewmen would say "this is insane..". BF3 campaign is really underrated.

Nah the loading screens in BF4 are exactly 10 billion times better than in bf3

the BF3 campaign was INFINITEtimes better than the BF4 campaign, the BF4 campaign made absolutely no sense and the BF3 one had a understandable story with it and was more realistic

This song always makes me stare at the sky or a sunset and just think about things.Think about my life, how things could have gone if I acted differently.I also think about some of the themes this game had; sacrifice, war, and so on.I also remember all the BF3 memories, little me sitting at the computer excited for the next mission in the campaign :) Battlefield 3's campaign is my second all-time favorite campaign, right after Battlefield Bad Company 2.If only we could have a version without the chatter...

I think this entire campaign was underrated. It's literally the only linear campaign I can play over and over again and have it still feel like it's the first time I've played it.

The HALO jump is incredible

A video game made in 2011 has better music than the radio at the time and 5 million times better than today's radio.

Technically the most hardest mission in this game.

Battlefield 3 campaign was very underrated. For once, you could actually play also as Russian soldier in a modern shooter game. And storyline itself was well written, had amazing soundtrack. No bullshit USA vs Russia like most CODs, except that one level in late game where Russia blocks US forces and goes after terrorists holding nuclear bomb, so that Americans don't get it first.

I'm constantly getting back on this single player.. its just amazing. First mission shows u exact feel of modern Iraq war. And the rest is just amazing. Just like u said amazing storyline and everything.. even mission soundtracks

BF4 AND BF3 are both great games...

Wow so little views? I think this sounds amazing with the (what seems like) sounds of the pilots voices. I imagine Heathrow airport flight control operators or something in a time of crisis as Russian and American aircraft are flying indefinitely to their destinations of conflict all over the world.

Real shame no multiplayer map used this theme. Golmud Railway from BF4 sounds fairly similar though

Somebody recently extracted and converted all of the BF3 music from the game data files. The loading screen music for "The Great Destroyer" is actually an edited version of Solomon's Theme but was never used for some reason.

I see the vision for 2143 right here people...its a shame big corporate fear stiffles creative risk, that you know deep down would be executed by DICE beautifully. EA is the worst thing that happened to Battlefields creative potential...
