That “9 years ago” just hit really hard, this is still better gameplay/shooter experience than any modern cod or BF, if they could just go back to this that’d be great

I agree and disagree like 2042 and BF4 this games bloom kills the gunplay. MW 2019 is really the only good modern cod. No bloom and a cool weapon customization system. Sure this games 11 years old but bullet bloom is something made for the 80 year old men who can’t stand losing a gunfights.

10 years ago now, crazy. Such fond memories of playing this for months on end, everyday, back when it came out on 360. Then around 2018 EA released it for free on Origin for PC, and got to relive a lot of memories with full servers. BF4 never had the same gunplay or "feel" as this game and the Bad Company series, was beginning to feel too "floaty".

does anyone notice how absolutely intense the voices of the soldiers are? They are always communicating something like “JESUS CHRIST, GRENADE!!” and it just adds to the immersion. I went to a battlefield 4 video and noticed that the voices were toned down a lot. Maybe they thought it was over saturated in Bf3, but I think it sounds so intense and amazing

Operation metro was truly a map where people would fight over every inch of ground

Almost 2019 and it still gives me the chills.

ah yes, this kind of match in Op. Metro. I really like the atrition warfare thing when both sides try to gain dominance over point B before one side finally give in under constant barrages of bullet and grenade

Cod rounds are fast paced for about five minutes. Battlefield, on the other hand, on some maps can last upto 2 hours of that fast paced gameplay

i actually prefer this game over BF4. The dialogue/ voices in this game are there. i donno if theres some kind of sound bug in bf4 or theyve completly forgotten about these epic voices i hear in gun fights. Not to mention how cluster fucked bf 4 is with all the different types of grenades blocking your way up to the metro. i miss this game and all the maps that shipped with it.

That hallway firefight brings back so many memories

I’ll never forget the intense firefights this map produced. When you finally get that push through the locker room and the fighting spills onto the side street and in the apartments. Golden. Wish I could go back.

Metro on Battlefield 3 brings back terrifying memories. Easily my favorite map and edition. The horror.

I was always top of the standings on this with medic. Absolute carnage. Some of my best gaming memories.

My best is 107-34, I played métro rush as defender with 500 tickets the game lasted more than 1 hour but we lost and it was a lot of fun
