The lead developer had only ever worked on Candy Crush before he became the lead developer of Battlefield 2042 so he had never worked with the frostbite engine that even the guys that made it said it was to hard to work with, lets put it that way. Oh but don't worry we have a Farther Christmas skin coming this month for Boris and Christmas themed vehicle skins, need I go on?

@@bravetitangrizzly Get it on a sale, as it will be OK in the future. But looking at the Steam player counts the game has already got less players than BF V has on Steam, I know that doesn't include the EA player count but it is still a terrible statistic for a AAA title to have this shortly after it was released.

at least bf4 had leaning, tanks received less damage from angled hits, it had a scoreboard, more weapons, better hit detection, and fixed/improved on a couple of things from bf3 (defib spam for ex). This game feels like an oddly smaller experience, with less nuance and team play. Plus the usual BF startup bug hell.

Naaaa bro... environmental destruction and explosions were best done on bf bad company which is 10 years old. If you say that the old bf were bugged it is because you didn't know the old games before bf 1. The only problems were server problems. And yes some bugs... but nothing compare to 2042! This game is just in Beta phase! So fck EA Games!

I swear man BF is fun even with bugs, only cod players cant have fun with bugs, or the new BF players. OG BF fans never let any issue stop their fun in the game. I am loving it, played the beta on ps4 and I swear I had tons of fun, not capping or typing fanboy comment here.

Here since bf 2 and i disagree. I was a big fan of the series, I played all the games (except bfV)... the last ones were not great but 2042 is so much for me! Some bugs is normal. But here is another level... just a beta version. I hate EA
