If you want it to last long while actually do something, try hitting him with the lightning wispon: you don't have to wait for him to attack to hit him, but it will deal very little damage. Lighting wispon is clearly the intended weapon for this boss because it makes the fight way longer and you have a higher chance to be hit by the egg pawns.

Because they're both semi-remixes of his main theme... Which only plays once in the actual game: in Mystic Jungle before his first fight, and even then it's only about a minute at best while being drowned out by everyone talking.

A cool thing that they could have done for this bout is to have Infinite grab us and throw us on the highway, transitioning to chase battle where he launches stuff at us and we have to catch up while avoiding damage from him.

I kinda wished Infinite reappeared in Sonic Frontiers...

Flame Wispon is OP in boss battles.

I found something interesting about this and the first bout The tempos are different because I think it's since Sonic is faster than the Avatar, making the fights differ for Infinite. But at 0:55, it's the same melody from the first one, lining up with the lines from his main theme, "When everything you know has come and gone, only scars remain of who I was..." In the faces of both opponents (the avatar and Sonic), he's still telling them that they will fall to his illusions and that he will rise to power
