I really like stuff like this where we can appreciate that Black Metal evolved from regular metal. When I got into Black Metal in the '90s, it felt like it had crawled up from the pits of hell fully formed and was utterly separate from normal metal. Yet here I am finding out the most Black Metal person of all once wore a Megadeath t-shirt. Gives me hope.

the most Black Metal person of all time liked Tangerine Dream, so there's probably more hope in other forms of music too not just metal. Black Metal evolved from a lot of different types of music&musicians, the reason why it felt like it crawled out of the pits of Hell is because that's it's true influence. Satan/the Fall, religion or religious subjects, spiritual connection to the opposing side to God/creation/life is where a lot of metal gets it's influence with imaginary & subject matter, unless it's mostly about women/drugs/sex. which honestly are still apart of religion & religious subjects. with Black Metal there was more substance because of the belief behind it matched with actions, Euronymous was the person who propagated that connection & was the reason for others forward motions in executing their beliefs. it shocked&got attention but it was for a more important reason than just money/fame/a way to make a living like what happens with a lot of people who get involved with entertainment industries.

​@@dEAthlikEstAtic I disagree with metal and more especially black metal being connnected to spiritualism or religion. Satanism isn't the opposition of a god, it's the fact that you are one individual and all are equal. Satanism was formed by atheists who which don't believe in a god or such. There is christian black metal but the majority is not, the most 'spiritualistic' or religious band or person in black metal that comes to mind that isn't a part of christian or religious black metal is Jon Nodtveidt from dissection.

megadeth shirt is so real edit/update!!: i found the exact shirt Pelle is wearing!!! its a Megadeth/Vic Rattlehead t shirt from the 80s (duh obviously) but it shows Vic's eye showing through his broken metal cover with some metal shards sticking out, 3 nails hammered in his mouth where teeth would be on the left, and a his mouth locked on the right with a chain leading to where his ear would be on the left. pretty cool t shirt if you ask me, and i could see why Pelle bought the shirt lol.

This dedication is incredible. I studied the symbols at 0:37 and believe that these may be rune symbols, rune letters, and/or spiritual symbols. The first symbol on the top looks like the rune for fire. The second symbol looks like the rune for luck. The third symbol could have several variations on the meaning. If the top of the triangle pointed to the right, it resembles the symbol for protection. With its current orientation, it could represent the spiritual triangle for air but the line through it makes the translation a challenge. The fourth symbol resembles the rune for divine protection. The fifth symbol resembles the rune for solar chariot or rhythm. The sixth symbol resembles the rune for fertility or living renewal. If translated correctly and using the current orientation of the third symbol: Fire, Luck, Air, Divine Protection, Rhythm, and Renewal.

i'm sure a lot of people would disagree but i think Dead was a poser, i think he wanted fame&money &found something more. things like that do happen when you look into/deal with the occult/religion &open yourself up to things you don't fully understand. even when you think of things like God/Odin/YHWY etc..not just demons. all of it connects, it's inescapable as long as all life cycles repeat.
