That's not how the Olympics work. Only at World Championships do the defending champions get a buy in.

she won't. her best time of the year is 2 seconds slower than the world's best this year.

This fall also cost the 5th place lady a spot on the Olympic team....put her back 2 or 3 seconds which would likely have given her 2nd. Sad end to 3 years of work
