Yes Black community can show vulnerability, but i get it especially as a man ur brought up to feel its only weakness maybe the outcast understand more cause honestly i believe a mass majority of the nf fans don't care what race who is, we just want change in music/rap at a exponential rate, NF is finally doing it for so many and for it, basically all comments shown or given usually is our love hapily.❤🙏

The balloons at the end of the video - are other people buried in the snow that are Lost. NF and Hopsin found each other, but there are so many others they see - the humanity is buried under our traumas, baggage, worries, regrets and so on - Lost. That's the way I took it and we help each other to get out. Please bring Mr. Biscuit for podcast reactions Ren and NF, super fun!

Fun fact, Hopsin talked about how putting snow on his face was Nate's idea and they had to do multiple takes to get the shot right. Hopsin was getting annoyed having to do it so many times. There's an interview video of it I'd suggest watching.

Yo Mr. Biscuit is amazing with how observant he is. Great catch with the sun coming out and matching the beat. You’re right P, everything is intentional. Nate actually sits down with his producer and his editor when they’re doing their thing and has creative control over every edit they make so he can tie it all in. He only works with people who are cool with him doing that.

I love, love that you're talking about correlations between Ren and NF - like you, I'm discovering both of them at the same time - loving them both. So unique! Same, same, but different, lol! There are many Themes that are coming out in their songs at the same time, which is super exciting on different levels! Example - when Ren says "I go by many names also, some people know me as Hope." Then NF comes out with his single Hope just a few weeks later. Not only that, but it's a whole new NF and vibe of Hope. And of course, the dark self vs light self. It's more than a coincidence I think, but not in a way some have suggested one is taking ideas from another. I think it's the collective consciousness thing. It's the reason why so many people are responding to this - it's because these two artists found a way to express something so perfectly, yet in their own unique way - what we are facing as individual humans and as a human race - they're just giving voices and expressions to it that we can relate to. Other artists that are expressing the duality within and the battle of the mind - Falling in Reverse - Voices in My head and TOP (21 Pilots). I think it's in the aether, man and we are all breathing it and waking up.

This is the first reaction I've seen where the reactors go silent on the second part of Hop's verse. Totally appropriate, he went in on it, there was some intensely personal stuff amidst the lyrics of anger and frustration. Appreciated how hard you both listened to him.

I wanted to point out a few things he referenced from this video in Hope. 1. Notice the paddle he picked up in the video. He has the same paddle on the raft at the beginning of Hope. 2. Black P you caught this, he said he really wants to handle his thoughts and put the reigns on them and show them who’s boss and of course that’s how he ends Hope… he takes the reigns. 3. Similar to 2 but continuing in the same verse he mentions he’s taking the flaws that told him he’ll never evolve and pull a bane on em and like you think you’re in charge? (Cool Bane in Dark Knight Rises reference) Fear says “you’ll never evolve” to him in Hope during the end battle between him and Fear but we all know he has now taken charge.

Well that's what everyone seems to think but I've always been a bit wearded out don't I just see the xtras or dummies or whatever they could make A Little human like from that far away. There isn't any, which I could get just from production reasons, so it's either or.

@@727V well yes I also got that adpect, but it still is more so open ended for you to make out of it what you will when Everyone is buried Whole. If NF's idea is that they are other people which is as I have taken it, then I also think even couple dummies or crew members to lay down there would be a good indication for that. Like just 1/4 even (even forming a snow a bit into a human shape and spray it black would look good from that far away). Rather than to just assume they all are buried. Neverless it's good like it is since open ended isn't exactly a bad thing, if people make of it what they will. It still is open ended.

Lol Nate buys his long shirts from H&M. I have a theory on the loose, over sized clothes. I think it is less about fashion and more about sensory input. I'm a preschool teacher for over 18 years with trauma training and early childhood brain development. Kids like NF often need the comfort of being swaddled and covered up. Think of it like a protective tent over themselves. Tight clothing really feels like its choaking them. Some kids i see only get oversized hand me downs, so its feels odd for something fitted on their bodies. He has suffered with depression, anxiety, panic attacks and suicidal thoughts. He also has a pretty severe type of OCD and has found a special therapist that works with him. He didn't seek help until the end of his Perception album tour. His next album was "The Search" .....to find the map to Hope....to get better.

@13:39 They should be able to. Just because your culture or how you were told to be as you grew up, doesn't make your pain and anxiety less than others. We aren't immune to that experience. Everyone experiences these things if they live long enough. For that, I would HIGHLY suggest listening to King Iso's stuff. He's probably one of the only African American rappers I've seen in a while that almost exclusively makes himself that vulnerable in the lyrics and feeling he puts into his craft. Not to mention, he's extremely talented. No wonder why Tech signed him as soon as he could.

It helps to appreciate the Easter eggs in his videos and catch his lines in songs. However, his Journey tracks over 5 albums with a 6th coming with very few skips. Only go in order if you're in it for the long haul. There's just so many...some suggestions: 1. Follow the journey - go to Therapy Session next for perspective and follow the trail. (It's worth it) 2. Short cut - Intro III - since you just watched Mansion. You'll understand why if Mansion is really fresh in your mind. 3. Just give me the best - Remember This, All of The Search album, All of Clouds the Mixtape
