basically cod is bullshit, the character we play as would have died 1000 times over in the real Normandy theatre

Just watching or playing it, it just makes you wonder how anyone got off the beach at all. It’s daunting enough doing it on a game where when you get shot in certain places it doesn’t instantly kill you and you know you can go again even if you die. I wonder how many of us would play the game if the damage sustained to your character on the game happened to you in real life. Never fails to amaze me how anyone got through it.

So cool cod got back to classic shooter style we all loved. Wish they or BF touched the yet undone war of Yugoslavia in 1991

I know its a game. I know theres no disrespect intended. But i sure hope anyone who plays this at the very least honors and respects the fact that this shit actually did happen.

They need to remake this with todays graphics and movement. This was in 2017. Need 2024 graphics and make it super realistic.

If you are not doing commentary then it will count as reused . They updated there policy in april 2024 . Give me a break, the sound effects are so poor and the graphics are washed out. Animation and gore are about exaggerated. battlefield 3 has set the bar for audio effects...

We found, after he'd passed, Grandpa had a whole unopened case of WWII rifles in one of his closets. Got a feeling, that maybe back in the day, it fell off the back of a truck or something. Bet a lot of that shit went on after the war, lots of decommissioning going on.😉

You would think having nearly total air and naval superiority for 6 months leading up to the landing would have destroyed wooden bunkers and barbed wire. I think this is over done.

It’s understandable why this battle gets a lot of coverage in video games. However, it would be nice to see more attention given to other battles from WW2 especially amphibious assaults in the pacific theater. A lot of youth are exposed to historical events for the first time through video games and it is therefore important that they have access to a wealth of AAA content that takes the history seriously and affords access to a wider scale of events. The impact of video games cannot be overstated and content creators must take their jobs seriously even though the medium is considered to be first and foremost a means of entertainment

No Operation Fortitude & Operation Bodyguard = No D-Day

People dog video games but imo games like this do serve positive purposes…..the original MEDAL OF HONOR game got me completely fascinated with history when I had always thought history was BORING because of how it was presented at school……this is a great way for kids to scratch the surface of what they’re ancestors sacrificed and why those sacrifices are of complete importance!

Wish all war, was played out on a screen and no one actually had to experience the horror of it..

I thought they were pinned down on the beach at Omaha for most of the day, so not realistic at all really

@@tonyfarinacci404 I'm pretty sure most of the survivors were off the beach within 40 minutes. I don't need it hyper realistic but having to shoot and knife a German every 5 feet is not necessary.

Great level of the game.

Good mission, wonderful graphics , but somehow too fast and too short for an WWII mission in comparison with some other WWII games !!!!

Superb graphics and sound but with most top console games the characters more to quickly spoils it a touch!!

It’s a shame they should’ve made the game play a bit more realistic after putting all the effort into it

Gotta be honest. The sound design disappointed me. Maybe it sjust the video but it didnt' feel big and loud enough. The guy yelling at you was easily audible, not like he was fighting to be heard.

Again great graphics but poor game play. The main caracter looking like is Hulk can get plenty of shoots and still alive and healthy like nothing happens, enemys looking like dummys with airsoft guns. Looking very, very easy and fast cleaning this beach in less then 20 minutes when real life take hours and hard work and amazing courage and plenty of lifes. 😂😂😂😅

I loved cod ww2 2017 bc it reminded me of WAW 2008. Probabmy not as gritty but real close, definitely better than woke vanguard with black airmen… not that im shitting on black airmen but lets be fr. It was ww2. There was no black airmen bc of race

There were prestigious black airmen from America in WWII though. But even more black airmen and paratroopers that volunteered to fight with RAF from the British and French colonies. Only American soldiers were segregated in Europe because they didn't want black soldiers coming home to America to fight the segregation in our country at the time.
