I'm from future we did not get bf 6 instead that we got trash battlefield that doesn't have campaign and bad gameplay

The theme of this story was brilliant. It showed how we will never know how true war stories are or if the “heroes” are genuine. The ending implies Blackburn actually killed Wilson and he escaped trial following the attack.

So was Blackburn's story true? Because Wilson didn't get out of the water with him implying that he escaped court martial under the cover of an air raid

We don't know, its implied that he's lying anyway at the end with "I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true, would I" So he could just be telling a fictional story to his kids or something lol

Most likely not. He actually killed his co pilot and escaped while his handlers were distracted by the German air raid. Theres a cutscene where it briefly shows him killing someone.

yeah i didn't think it happened in real life but then i read on Wikipedia "The last and largest aeroplane raid of the war took place on the night of 19 May 1918, when 38 Gothas and 3 Giants took off against London. Six Gothas were shot down by interceptors and anti-aircraft fire " so maybe this is just a very dramatized version of this raid

They didn't. Didn't you get the ending? Blackburn turns out was an unreliable narrator so he probably killed Wilson back at No Man's Land, escaped from his handcuffs and jumped off the dreadnought during the air raid.

Unlike a balloon they have a semblance of an internal structure, they won't deflate but instead, experience a slow descent like a hot air balloon with a hole in it. you can see at the end how the zeppelins are roughly around ten floors high judging by the building on the side despite being above the clouds at the beginning.

@@goosegoblin1844 1. They did not swan dive, they jumped legs first at an angle as to avoid drowning. 2. That's bomb fog, not clouds. 3. Yes, people have survived jumping 500ft into water. They're rapidly descending and probably around 2-300ft in the air by now.

Of course this never happened. But fucking hell it would have been one helluva event for the history books if it did.

Those Big Zeppelin terror Weapon's Were a DAMN Waste of time, money and Resources. Those Big Air-SHip's, Yes they were Kinda Fast But Not as Fast as PLane's. and they were BIG DAMN Target's so Shooting Em Was Pretty Easy and also, If the Air-Force would not Get em, Im sure the Big Gun's on the Naval War-Ship's, with the Power they Had, im sure they also can Reach the air-ships if they were Low enough.

You forget they they were not meant for usage in actual combat and their main purpose was reconnaissance missions at night where they could not be spotted as easily. They were much more efficient in fuel usage than planes and did not make much noise if flown in ideal altitude.
