Sometimes it takes it a little bit to replicate across the network on their side. Try logging into and out of battle.net website as well

Thanks a bunch, I am glad I downloaded the authenticator app before they disabled it. All of the other videos show how to add a phone number, I wasn't even considering using the authenticator on a different phone
