I was born and grew up in a republic from Soviet Union. Since I was a child I have loved America. But so happened by fate that I live in America from 2001, and love this country, but my heart is broken when I see some things that are fighting against prosperity of this country. O lord God please intervene in behalf of this country.

His truth continues to march forward. The day is soon approaching when he will command his angels to lift the bowls of his wrath. At his command, each will pour what can not be stopped. Nothing in heaven or on earth can withstand him. Woe unto those inhabitants on the earth on whom his wrath is poured on! Even now, Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus, come!

As an American, I get a tear in my heart as our soldiers turn the Red Sea even more red with their blood, as our President refuses to avenge their death, as he did not avenge the death of our soldiers during the Afganistan debacle. How long must we Americans suffer humiliation under the Democratic party (Biden) ?

Thank you First Baptist Dallas Choir for honoring all men and women who have served in our military and especially those who gave their life for our freedoms. May God continue to watch over the United States of America and bless those who have gone before us to keep us FREE. May we never, ever forget the bombing of Pearl Harbor. God Bless the United States of America where Freedom is never, ever free.

We had the version from Bill and Gloria Gaither played at my dad's memorial service (in 2006 before this FBC-Dallas video was available). It can seem a somewhat unusual piece for a funeral, but my dad was an American patriot and we knew there would be like-minded military people attending who might not know other Christian songs that would be played and hoped they would connect with this one, which MUST include that magnificent last verse: "In the beauty of the lilies, Christ was born across the sea, with a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me, as He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free, while GOD IS MARCHING ON!"

The first time I heard that song was in a Baptist church in Rosewood Heights Illinois. My dad was a Green Beret. He was away when a young man from our church was killed in Vietnam. My dad brought his body back. I remember my dad standing in the aisle of the church larger than life, as he always was to me, crying. It was a first for me to see that. It was also my first experience with death. I could never listen to the song without crying after that. After my dad passed away in March of 2016. I heard the song for the first time without crying. Much anyway. Someone told me I was carrying his pain. When he passed there was no more pain for him. My Grandpa was the pastor of our church and the service. I guess I knew he met my dad at the gates of Heaven. I try to live my life the right way so that in time I can see everyone again. Thanks for stirring my soul.

My back gets a little bit straighter, my shoulders stronger and my eyes more clear whenever I hear this Hymn. I feel like I can accomplish anything in the name of all that is Good. I usually follow that with cleaning up my home or getting some important paper work done but one day, when it matters most, I know it will direct me in a more meaningful direction and by the grace of God I will march for his Glory.

Thanks for bringing back that wonderful night of memories. 200 years of American music.

Agreed, John. I am an atheist, but *not* one of those militant jacka... uhh, pains in the neck... One thing I couldn't help but notice about the choir and orchestra; there were people of all ethnic backgrounds standing next to each other, not divided by the color of their skin (such as folks of one particular political angle might have us), but united by what they had in common; their faith, their love of music, and the wonderful opportunity to join together. D.C.should take notice.
