I too use 3D printed battery mounts- very convenient. You may find it more accessible to mount a sliding plate on one side wall to mount the holder; pull out and select. Drawer sliders are good for this. Saves having to reach over all the tools to get a battery- and makes the bits easier to see. Tip- fit a small steel plate to the top of the space. The light can be stored there, using the magnet. Works well.
