Can measure capacity & ir testing with this module of an lithium ion & Lipo4 batteries ??? Instead of using cell ir tester which cost 14000/- & battery capacity tester separately

Forgive my poor understanding but why is the shunt connected near the load and not the battery? (And does it matter I guess...?) Is is it just out of convenience because the battery monitor will not be always attached to the battery, or because the shunt actually is more accurate when placed near the load? (I am installing one on a portable 12v power supply and the loads which will be attached to it vary in type and proximity so I have mine attached to the battery for the portable 12v power source and was under the impression that this is the preferred method after reading the instructions....)

It will not make any considerable difference if you keep it close to battery or away

I forgot to mention the batteries are connected to an inverter. The negative goes to the shunt and the other side goes to the negative of the battery

Good afternoon, I put this unit in my boat having two batteries 102 mAh in the one side, for the service appliances. The batteries are connected to a solar panel via charge controller. But the central SOC battery icon shows only one bar. High voltage set 13,8 low voltage set 11,0. Is something wrong?

You need to set the max and min voltages to show the correct SOC on the display. You should watch my video once more to understand how to set it.

Because of this setup I see only the measurements of the inverter witch is connected to batteries 2. If I connect the shunt with another wire with the negative of the boat, as load, can I see the measurements of all the 12v appliances?

can we measure the capacity of the battery using this meter by measuring the charging capacity ?
