Shame these same narrow minded criminals don't understand that making the air cleaner is far more important than ignorantly driving around polluting the air. Yes the bat box is great, we need to look after bats, however without fast tracking to decarbonising this country and the world alike, then no amount of bat boxes will make a difference. Many people need transport, so they and their kids if they have them, can have a future! You can be green and also run a car! So don't pretend it's about green options or green initiatives, it's all about control, removing freedoms, money and stopping people having a free life where they forge their own path. People do not want universal basic income or communism. Well I don't! So if you think your life matters on these comments' boards, vote out those who think it clearly does not!

@@Notagain640 That's clearly not what ULEZ is for lol, there are plenty of independent air tests that have shown very safe levels of air quality on London streets vs on the Tube for example. Plus basic maths and Science will tell you that making cars travel more slowly (for longer) or making them take detours thanks to zoning will only increase pollution. This is a straight up money making scam from Sadiq Kahn…if you look into it you'll see it too.

I can confirm I've seen hundreds of bats use a single box in a single day.

Love those small furry flying creatures!

They need to put bat boxes in the House of Lords where everyone is bats anyway which hopefully would mean that the place is unusable!

putting bat boxes up, in an area of artificial lighting like where this one is, causes more harm than good to bats, as they way well not emerge to hunt insects, if they still think its day time due to the artificial lighting.

I avoided the ulez then drove down half a mile of road that had a tiny red sign warning of ulez. On a roundabout so the chances of being able to read the small print are impossible. Got fined £80 robbing ... It's not as if it's even a reasonable fine like parking charge it's just daylight robbery

If some bats occupy a roost for only a short amount of time then I think it’s best to put more of these boxes up to ensure the bats have plenty of places to stay
