Thank you all for the kind words. Much appreciated. This just came up on my KZread feed. Nice to see it and hear it again. Long story on what happened with this record. A shame really. Thank you again.
The fans didn't give up on this genre of music. We're still out here. The Global Agenda had it shut down.
These bands lost the Battle,When Grunge came out ,But they still made brilliant Music in the 90s ✌️✌️✌️
Baton Rouge, Babylon A.D, Wildside, Tora Tora, Steelheart, McQueen Street, Kingdom Come, Kix, Harem Scarem, XYZ, Hurricane, Bulletboys : EXCELLENT BANDS AND SO FUCKING UNDERRATED !!!

Yes, there were SO MANY! We were so spoiled then and it was impossible for all the bands to get noticed by the majority and impossible for us to keep up as fans. Yet they're all just derided as Hair Metal now and its become popular to just dismiss them all with 'the scene got saturated with sub standard bands all copying the same sound'. Sure, they were similar - it was hard rock! But they were all very different and bloody good. And now not a single band of this calibre exists and rap is shoved down our throats everywhere! They're not musicians and the singer can't hold a note. Is it because all these guys were white, with the exception of Hendrix, Phil Lynott and Living Colour? The Global Agenda now panders towards this category with everything.

oh yeah, This tape on steady rotation when it came out. Little did I know, those were the best years of my life.. Yep, good times.
Excellent Band, Magnificient album..
Wow, never heard of this band! Great melodies, I'm an instant fan. (I love these YoutTube recommendations!)
I remember when Kelly was a teenager playing in a shed behind his parents house in Lafayette La. I was blown away by his keyboard playing and singing skill even way back then. He was a classic/ progressive rock artist and over time morphed into this heavy metal performer. The early band was called Trilogy and their song list was solid chills and arm-hair raising from start to finish. I still have the PA he sang through back then.

@@ccr7009 Kelly you were an inspiration to me. I have 4 kids now and I encouraged them to pursue music education with intense and passionate interest, and it has paid off. My oldest daughter is first violin in Symphony Orchestra and can play rock as well as classical flawlessly. My oldest son plays guitar originals that sound like old roadhouse jazz favorites. Thank you Kelly.
How have I never heard this group? I grew up in the 80s and love rock and miss that sound. Glad I finally discovered Baton Rouge. Two songs in and already love them!

Walk Like A Woman didn't blow up until early 1991, and then that was it, cuz Nirvana.
Man I was gigging back in the 80's and I love this music. This song Walks Like A Woman is better than 99% of the other hits back then and this is the first time I've heard it. This is great.

Originale.
I love this Band!
Listened to a lot of Baton Rouge in high school. I had two albums though. This one was the better one I believe.

True Bad Boys of Rock!
This is a very good album , there are a few songs here that like some other bands I can't understand how they arn't hits. I am searching for good hard rock music from this time period because there isn't any good stuff now. Also Vain , Enuff-z-Nuff and Saigon kick are awesome , there is a lot of crap music in this era too though this is the 1st great album in like the last 10 I checked out lol have been playing this everyday for almost a week !
Underrated band.

BATON ROUGE TRES BON GROUPE DE HARD ROCK MELODIQUE
thanx for the upload,i've been searching this old skool Album for years....ROCK ON !!
Gran profesional y voz, me gusta muchísimo.

They just snuck in before grunge wrecked the scene. I fell in love with this one from the opening riff. Wish they had been able to release this 3 or 4 years earlier. This and "Lights Out on the Playground" got lots of play time in my car.

Personalitat i empremta, rock i metal.
Fantastic job!!! Thanks.

I wonder if there is any way that a class action suit can be brought against these record companies that try and keep this music away from the masses. Rock and roll has always been about rebellion. The companies pedal their homogenized crap but younger generations keep finding this music. And it is still alive and well in the clubs here in the USA and in the rest of the world. But the same record companies that are not letting us download it on iTunes are also keep the older bands ( who are still around ) and the new bands from getting signed and from airplay. They know we are smarter than then and we refuse to let them own us now. But this music needs to be rereleased as well as up on iTunes available for people to listen to.

You think that's a problem? lol Back in the day, many of these great bands were UTTERLY ignored by the mainstream media (TV, radio, magazines, newspapers) and even their own record labels! Living in England, even with bands like Whitesnake, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Saxon, having 'hit' singles in the charts, Radio 1, who had the stranglehold on the youth music, refused to acknowledge heavy metal was even a genre. And us rock fans were treated like paedophiles. You couldn't get a girlfriend in the UK if you liked metal/hard rock. One of my buddies had to cut his hair and give up music to get a g/f! Seriously. I was almost 21 before I got laid lol and people said I looked like Bon Jovi, so ... go figure. The girls liked all those gay men like Boy George, George Michael (who didn't come out) lol. We did have Kerrang! though, a street level hard rock/metal mag that was like the Bible to us rockers. We had Donnington Monsters of Rock Festival every 3rd weekend in August, but even when Iron Maiden headlined in 1988 with 107,000 fans, the press ignored it, as they did every year, other than to put it on the news because sadly some fans were crushed to death. They only love bad news. So there you go, a snapshot back to then and why they hate this music. I suspected it was because they could play and had a 'fuck you' attitude and were confident in the face of adversity. My mantra to this day.

I think your best bet is to just look on discogs.com this very album is on there for £1.57. I highly recommend that site, you can find really rare stuff like this and buy whatever version is available (bonus editions from other countries, even cassettes!) Majority of it is second hand but i've never had a bad experience from them. I got a bunch of Danger Danger albums from there.
